Does God allow us the free will to choose Him?

Thanks for reading and replying to my post. I your opinion, where did free will originate? It seems you have, among other misunderstandings, a misunderstanding of the three types of death and their impact on the three types of life. Foremost, spiritually dead souls cannot change their status...

Does God allow us the free will to choose Him?

I appreciate your reply. Your reference to Eve in the garden is certainly one of the first applications of free will. I believe the deception of Satan was pre-dated by his arrogance expressed by him (Lucifer) as the angel of light. [Isa 14:13-15 KJV] 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I...

Does God allow us the free will to choose Him?

AustinC, after sleeping on it, I understand your position. I was thinking to narrowly about how freewill/self-will can be applied. Thank you.

Does God allow us the free will to choose Him?

We have a fundamental difference of the meaning of freewill. Paul, in Galatians, is reprimanding them for tending to fall back under the law - legalism. Under the Law, practicing freewill would be deadly!

Does God allow us the free will to choose Him?

Can anyone share with me the source/origin of freewill, or as I call it self-will, philosophy/theology that allows spiritually dead people to make any spiritual decision acceptable to God? They can/do make spiritual decisions acceptable to Satan.

    Repent for your Racism

I did watch the video. It make me aware of a lot of history. I did not participate in the formation, passing or implementation of any of this legislation. Therefore, I am not assuming guilt. As a Christian, am I obligated to accept, approve and condone the habits of any other group, race...

Why are there so many even Christians afraid of Judgment Day?

I agree. However, you are avoiding answering my question. Please provide the Biblical reference to the judgement day when Christians will be judged and the eternal result of their judgement. Do you agree with this statement or do you have an alternative belief? "The judgment seat of Christ...

    Do We Have Free-Will?

A servant (slave) does not have freewill. God bless His children who obey Him and disciplines those who don't. We have a self-will, but it is not without judgement. If it were indeed free, there would be no consequence. [Rom 6:16 KJV] 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants...

Why are there so many even Christians afraid of Judgment Day?

You state: "Its crystal clear we all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ:" If by "we" you mean Christians, I agree. However, taken in context, I am not certain if you include the unsaved in that judgement. Judgement of born-again: What are all the different judgments in the Bible...
