Justification by faith, like Preterism, not in the creeds. But Biblical

If you cant make the connection when the event of transfiguration is mentioned as the very next event then thats your problem. Its not our fault you cant see the contextual flow and, the placement of the transfiguration after Jesus statement trumps your created difficulty of acceptance...

    Serious about Christmas

I would just like to qualify that I am against the whole lying to your kids and teaching them to believe in Santa, lying is condemned in the scriptures, and I believe it is blasphemous to teach your kids that false character named Santa is omniscient. that is crossing the line. However I see...

    Serious about Christmas

Question, is there something inherently sinful with giving gifts to people on a specific day of the year? Is there something inherently sinful about having a tree in your house? (may I remind you that most houses are made out of cut wooden studs) Is there something inherently sinful about...

    Should Christians celebrate Christmas?

The question is does something original Intention affix permanent morality to thay custom? I believe no. If you say yes, I would tell you that to be consistent you have to stop a large amount of wedding customs since many of them were pagan in origin.

Sounds like you know the answer. I see no problems here according to Romans 7.

Justification by faith, like Preterism, not in the creeds. But Biblical

Remind me exactly when this prophecy was fulfilled: Acts 1:9-11 KJV [9] And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white...

We need more christian colleges like Liberty, more christian leaders like Falwell Jr.

I do believe many conservative principles are based on Biblical truths and principles, how ever, many conservatives are godless people who do not believe in Jesus. But the fact of the matter is, believing the bible and studying the bible will lead one to a more conservative political view. One...

I think Liberty has confused conservatism with Christianity. (And I am a conservative BTW)

How should we consider Roman Catholics?

A false church that teaches a false Gospel. How can you consider people who hold To works salvation as in Christ?

Do you have a favorite famous pastor?

Kenny Baldwin. If you’ve never heard him you need to. He is my favorite preacher hands down. Others worth noting are Adrian Rogers, J Vernon McGee, John MacArther (though there is a lot I dont agree with him about), I love listening to Ravi Zacharias also.

If you don't have faith in Jesus, and nor repent, IS THIS A SIN?

Romans 4:5 KJV [5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. I’m not sure God could have made it any clearer...

Newer version: Modern Literal Version (MLV)

    Some questions on missions

God already told us to go and preach the Gospel to every creature. I think far to many people are waiting for a “call” when the command is already to go. In fact, of the command already is to go, the shouldn’t the call be to stay Why is the default to stay and wait for a call to go? In...

    Some questions on missions

It seems the people over at ChristianityToday are more concerned about doing what is “ethical” than obeying God’s word. And here I was thinking Mark 16:15 is ethical, I sure am glad the people at Christianity today can tell me what is ethical.

    Some questions on missions

Yes he has a right if God indeed told him to. God already told us to preach the Gospel to every creature. We ought to obey God rather then men. It’s not different than being forbidden to enter North Korea. Secondly, so if he brings pathogens and they all die..well what if he doesn’t go and they...
