So, if this is true then, what?, the race will pass away when Christ comes? What about your 1000-year reign and the Jews sacrificing and circumcising, etc.?

YERP!
What was false doctrine then is still false doctrine now!
Butcha got right back into one with that preterism garbage,I know. I am thankful I got out of it.
The Second Coming will not be visible to just Israel, as the entire earth shall see His coming, and history will end as we know of it that day!Butcha got right back into one with that preterism garbage,
Still awaiting yer explanation of why I didn't see Jesus return when He said EVERY EYE will see it.
(Well, actually, the explanation's pretty simple - IT AINT HAPPENED YET !)
The Second Coming will not be visible to just Israel, as the entire earth shall see His coming, and history will end as we know of it that day!
Not an invisible event as preterists and JW hold to it being!Rev. 1:7Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Fulfilled on the Mount of Transfiguration, as those their saw Him in his true glory! The most important issue is not even whether it was visible or not but the timing. Jesus spoke several times about His coming in power into His kingdom in *within that generation*.
Your Jesus is saying, then, "Some of you are going to be alive next week."Fulfilled on the Mount of Transfiguration, as those their saw Him in his true glory!
When the second event happens, history ends as we now know it!Your Jesus is saying, then, "Some of you are going to be alive next week."
Really?
If you cant make the connection when the event of transfiguration is mentioned as the very next event then thats your problem.Your Jesus is saying, then, "Some of you are going to be alive next week."

Some died not seeing Him transfigured. Namely, Judas.Your Jesus is saying, then, "Some of you are going to be alive next week."

Its not our fault you cant see the contextual flow and, the placement of the transfiguration after Jesus statement trumps your created difficulty of acceptance.
“some standing. In all three of the synoptic Gospels, this promise occurs immediately prior to the transfiguration of Jesus (Mar 9:1-8; Luk 9:27-36). Furthermore, the word for "kingdom" can be translated "royal splendor." Therefore, it seems most natural to interpret this promise as a reference to the Transfiguration, which "some" of the disciples—Peter, James, and John—will witness only six days later (see note on Mat 17:1). “ McArthur

Oh, alright. Stick with Mcarthur if you want. If it really makes sense to you. I'm done with this.
The Second Coming event will end history as we know it!But of course you are, since you cannot "win".
The prophesied eschatological events have simply NOT YET HAPPENED! NO avoiding that TRUTH!
Proof? The world has gone right on, as usual, as it did before 70 AD and afterwards. Yes, there have been, and will be, scoffers who say "business as usual, forever. This world will abide til the sun burns out." But Scripture says that, when Jesus returns, He's gonna rule from the throne of David, ending all other government, for 1K years til He steps aside so His Father can be all in all. In other words, the world will be drastically changed!
The "modernization" of the present world is not a "new world". It's the result of God's increasing man's knowledge & ability to travel, as was prophesied for the end times. But it's still the same ole world! People still eat, drink, marry & give in marriage. (only now, we have "Adam & Steve" being socially accepted,, part of the great falling away)
But it all points out the FACT that preterism is false, phony as a Chevy Mustang.
