Act 28:13 thence having gone round, we came to Rhegium, and after one day, a south wind having sprung up, the second day we came to Puteoli; νότος notos south wind Eph 4:14 that we may no more be babes, tossed and borne about by every wind of the teaching, in the sleight of men, in craftiness...

Review of Martin Luther and Free Will

yep all that is correct, but it should not have been translated "wind" . ἄνεμος anemos is "wind" If Jesus wanted to say "Wind " he would have said ἄνεμος or anemos. He did not. So it should not have been translated "wind" but left as Spirit. Do you understand? It is not a Greek issue...

Review of Martin Luther and Free Will

Let me put is simple terms. WIND is not the subject that blows or moves unseen where it wants THE SPIRIT is. Wind should not have been used in the English. The verse says Spirit Your knowledge is admirable but not very inflexible . It is not a question of Greek but English compared to the...

Review of Martin Luther and Free Will

This is Youngs, but the Greek word for word has the same usage Jhn 3:7 'Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above; Jhn 3:8 the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he...

Review of Martin Luther and Free Will

The ability to understand or relate to the spiritual is quickening, It is not salvation. The choice of Salvation is a result. When were you dead spiritually?, The verse does not say. when was that.

Physical life is not our choice. We are spiritually dead and can be spiritually alive so that we can choose, eternal life or not.
