    One thing I really appreciate about the NKJV is the fact that the publisher (and translators) have avoided "updating" the NKJV for nearly forty years! I congratulate them for "bucking the trend!"

    Yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes, it can be a great blessing to simply focus on "reading" what the Word has to say to us. It isn't always necessary to approach the scriptures with a "study" mindset.
