If you were to make a list of your five favorite Bible translations, what would that list look like (currently)?

Matthews Bible.
KJV.
NASB.
WEB.

Not sure about number 5.

I know exactly what you mean. For me, it's:

ESV
NASB95
NKJV
KJV

And I struggle with choosing a fifth Bible translation, also.

If I had to choose right now, I'd probably choose the CSB.

Despite its gender inclusive language, I appreciate the fact that they're making an effort to be more "literal," so to speak, than other, mainstream Bibles (e.g. the NIV and the NLT).

Of course, my choices are subject to change.

I use more than "favorite" translations to study the word of God.
But those that would count as 5 favorites.

KJV.
Geneva Bible.
John Darby translation.
MLV.
NKJV.

What is the MLV/ I never heard of it before. Are you sure you have the correct initials?

I'm so pleased to know that you use more than "favorite" translations to study the word of God. I'm so impressed!

1842 revision of the KJV also called Baptist Bible on the binding of some editions
Literal Translation in Interlinear Bible
How about the 1901 Asv, as have read where those against MV have seen that as acceptable!

I should have said "I" don't use anything else. I wasn't insinuating that others shouldn't use whatever they want.
