I think we have some tracts in the bookstore but a "tract ministry"???? Umm - no. We actually go to people and talk to them.

Why is there talk of bait and hook? Isn't that sales terms? Are we selling the Gospel or are we bringing the Gospel to a lost people, loving them enough to share what just might save their lives with them?

Yes, we do communion on the ladies' retreat but since we have deacons prepare and serve communion to the congregation and our deacons are men, when we have the men's retreat, we wait for the guys to come home. :)

We have communion on the first Sunday of each month except when there are extenuating circumstances that have us move it to another Sunday. Last month we moved it to the second Sunday because many of the men were away on the men's retreat. We do it after the message and is a very special time.

I agree that the husband is the head of the wife as Scripture clearly states. However, a wise husband will work with his wife as a partner in most things and allow her decision making in the areas that she excels at. My husband doesn't make decisions in the clothing I wear or what my kids...

Yep - John 1:1 tells us the Word is God - so the KJV is God.

Faith is it. Faith in the finished work of the cross is what gets us to heaven and it is a gift from God. Obedience (works) is a sign that the faith is real. Like breathing is a sign of a body that is alive. A dead body can be made to "breathe" but it is not a real breath from a living body...

So then you are not "open air preaching" like Jesus did.
