Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

"Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? " (John 6:70), all the 12 are included in the single use of ἐκλέγω, which cannot be understood as you suggest

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

same Greek word ἐκλέγω here used for all the disciples. But "chosen" here shows that the Reformed understanding is wrong.
  3. Saved-By-Grace

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

I am referring to God "enabling" the elect sinner to believe. This is pure fantasy.

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

what do you make of Jesus' words in John 15:16? "You have not chosen me, but I have chosen (ἐκλέγω) you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you", which includes...

explain John 10:27-28 from a NON Osas Way!

you cannot, unless one does some twisting of the Greek text.
  9. Saved-By-Grace

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

Indeed, election is Biblical, because it is in the Bible. However, the Reformed/Calvinistic teaching of this is not, as it is more to do with theology, than what the Bible actually says.
  10. Saved-By-Grace

Once Saved - once lost ???

anyone who knowingly teaches that which is contrary to the Holy Bible. There are some who claim to be "saved", but hold to doctrines that show that this cannot be the case.
  11. Saved-By-Grace

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

but you believe that the sinners who are saved, are merely puppets who do nothing, as God has already done their repenting for them, and saved them!
  12. Saved-By-Grace

Once Saved - once lost ???

what about those with false theology?
  13. Saved-By-Grace

Justification By Faith Alone is Not Biblical

WOW!!! you Calvinists/Reformed do make it up as you go along!!! Now we have the new, unbiblical doctrine, that God has forgiven hell-deserving sinners, before they are even born, or even repent??? This is fantastic, and so very not Bible! I really wish you guys could stick to the Bible, and...

I can see that you have a different Bible to mine, and a different understanding of salvation, which will prove to be a waste of both our time, to continue this discussion. I wish you well.
  16. Saved-By-Grace

Once Saved - once lost ???

can a truly born-again person ever lose their salvation, and therefore become un-born-again? I have yet to find a single Scripture that teaches that a truly saved person can ever become lost, and end up in hell forever. I have argued on other threads that there are some very testing and...

The Holy Bible and The Unsaved

Joseph, you make it all sound so sentimental, and as if God is just resigned to the fact that the majority of his creation, will end up lost forever! "God does not demand", says you, but the Bible clearly says that "God COMMANDS every person everywhere to REPENT" (Acts 17:30), Do you think that...
