    Corruptions of the NKJV

The following taken from http://www.letgodbetrue.com/bible/scripture/new-king-james-version.php NKJV II Kings 23:29 In his days Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt went to the aid of the king of Assyria, to the River Euphrates; and King Josiah went against him. And Pharaoh Necho killed him at Megiddo...

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

Lol I will be making a new thread on the NKJV and the issues it has.

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

that is one of many verses that teach preservation. I agree with the following statement from:http://www.kjvtoday.com/home/does-the-second-them-in-psalm-127-refer-to-gods-words The syntax justifies interpreting "them" in verse 7 as referring to "the words of the LORD". The "words of the...

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

Yes you can get a perfectly preserved inspired copy of the word of God in the current in print King James Bible. The OP was can a translation be inspired and infallible. Not every single copy of the translation. A good friend of mine at school has a KJV that goes from Proverbs 31 on one page...

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

There is a complete different between updating spelling and correcting printing errors, and changing from The Textus Receptus to a Critical text as the modern translations have done.. It's not as if the KJV different editions are different translations. They are not. Still the same translation.

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

I would say the 1769 Cambridge is the preserved inerrent inspired word of God for english speaking people, Of course this is still the same text as the 1611 with printing errors corrected and spelling more standardized. All the supposed "differences" between the 1611 and the 1769 are not what...

Another one of Paul’s hidden conditions for salvation

Another one of Paul’s hidden conditions for salvation

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver...

    The Inanity of KJVOs' Questions

Jonathan you know there is much more to the King James Only Position than that. Most people who are King James Only are so because we believe the CT/MT to be inferior to the TR. The CT/MT just have too many readings that have very little MSS evidence, Yes I am aware that the TR does as...

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

Instead of attacking what you seem to be errors, please answer my question. Do any of you believe we have the perfect words of God that are without error anywhere on this earth in any language? If so where? Please answer my question.

Can a translation be Inspired and Infallible?

Really? You don't actually believe that. If so please tell me where I can get a copy of God's word with his EXACT words, with no errors or mistakes. You people claim to believe in God's perfect word, but God's perfect word free of error to you is some imaginary non existent bible that nobody...

    Standards of church membership

Having sex does not constitute marriage in the eyes of God. Old Testament Law says that a man who has sex with an unmarried woman has to marry her. That would be unnecessary if having sex made them married. If that were the case, some teacher somewhere would be reminding people that they had...

    Selective Service System

I don't care if this gets off topic. I think it quite rediculous that this government could legally tell me what to do and force me to serve for them.. Our government is wicked and I do not want to fight for what a bunch of corrupt men think is worth fighting over. If this did go into...
