    Emotional or Exegetical?

I know you haven't......I did....you challenged Winman to provide the easily accesible links you demanded he provide you earlier in post: You were betting your Theological ranch that he couldn't provide them. As you stated here: ....and it was a good gamble...but I COULD, and I supplied...

    Emotional or Exegetical?

Yet one more random factoid that Pelagius was aware of...I think, Amy, that you are a "dyed-in-the-wool" Pelagian heretic...it is obvious from your posts, and from the links provided to Pelagian Theology...You have denied no premise he supports, and have repeatedly re-inforced them...you are a...

    Emotional or Exegetical?

The utterly godless might not (given the link you provided)...but the informed Arminians do. This is no secret to a lot of informed Christian people of BOTH camps.

    Emotional or Exegetical?

No one....and that is not a debated point...see the answer I gave you above....Pelagius knew that too. And his writings have been posted for you to read and learn for yourself. You have been answered. Pelagius's writings have been posted and you have been given links. LEARN...........You...

Why is the Gospel referred to as an "APPEAL for reconciliation?"

Skan....You have not even TOUCHED upon how powerfully and NON-Calvinist this chapter in II Corinthians is!! Let us now put your OP in its WHOLE CONTEXT!! 2Cr 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made...

    Baptist distinctives/doctrines vs. Baptist polity

As much as one is more "traditional" than the other...it is not strictly covered in our distinctives. Something very similar occured in the Church in which I was raised except that the majority merely booted out the minority folks who then started their own church. Both churches....30 years...

If God exists and operates outside of time

I think that most would say that although God exists outside of time he operates within it. Some have supplied the idea that God is a-temporal prior to the creative decree and that temporality itself is a part of the creative decree, but that God is "presently" temporal post the creative decree...

    Forced to serve?

:thumbsup: While I would prefer that people end up finally working where they feel "called"...I find that most people who simply want to do no work never seem to quite figure out where they are "called" to serve....The easiest way to get them to figure out the answer to that question...

Calvinism is a combination of Theological Fatalism and Determinism, or is it?

I am asking you why you then, choose to act as an accuser on a regular basis.....in the sense of always acting as though anyone who disagrees with Iconism, is one who "refuses" to accept truths.....or "resists" them. Anyone might just as easily regularly refer to you as "resisting" the "truths"...

Calvinism is a combination of Theological Fatalism and Determinism, or is it?

Do you not quite realize that anyone else might just as easily and randomly accuse you of being "set to resist"? You do realize that right? You do understand that you are no more immune to such an accusation than those of whom you regularly imply that. Do you think that all things that you...

Calvinism is a combination of Theological Fatalism and Determinism, or is it?

I imagine you have been told numerous times that non-cals are perpetually "avoiding" "clear teachings" and the "obvious implications" and you probably think that is the case yourself. This simply isn't true. I simply disagree with some of what you post....I honestly think the answers you...

Calvinism is a combination of Theological Fatalism and Determinism, or is it?

Those answers had little to do with Scripture, and they weren't particularly based upon Scripture. Neither could they be because "Fatalism" is something that you claim the Scriptures do not teach, and I would agree. If Cals object to being called "determinists" that's fine with me, I suppose...

    Emotional or Exegetical?

If we are imprisoning and killing and persecuting the Church, then yes, if we aren't then probably not, no.

God loves you: The Message to the world

One SINS yes....that is not debated, but I meant to say that a born-again Christian may still sin, but he is not a "sinner" by identity, not as he was prior to becoming a New Creature. It is not right to call oneself a "sinner" in the same sense as they were prior to Salvation. We still sin...
