    Another Winner by Art Azurdia!

Who is this man speaking to? Other pastors? In a few days I will be 71 years old. The last time I was "reprimanded" (before two weeks ago) I was in high school. Yes, I was recently "reprimanded" just two weeks ago by my pastor. Well, I'm big enough to move on but what really...

    Another Winner by Art Azurdia!

Some try to make things so hard. No matter what you're doing it's not good enough all the while it's SO easy to believe you are not good enough should you listen to everybody else.

As It Was In The Days Of Noah

Yep, Baptist Believer..., I made so much money off of this video I don't know what to do with it all. That's why I waste my time posting on this forum. Your sarcasm has exposed your feeble attempt at being funny.

As It Was In The Days Of Noah

You know what, Rev..., perhaps if you listened "hard enough" these folks might have even referenced the Encyclopaedia Britannica or shown a picture of a WW II era Spitfire breaking up over Fort Worth. With all due respect Rev..., I'll bet you could find something wrong with a steel ball...

As It Was In The Days Of Noah

Well, that sums it up, I suppose. Since they mentioned "Enoch" the rest is trash. A man named Clark once said..., "Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man's growth without destroying his roots. Personally, I try to keep my feathers well oiled so the water of...

    ten-reasons-to-not-ask-jesus-into-your-heart-0

...I'll stick to the way that thief on the cross went. Course, Jesus told him that "...today ye shall be with me in Paradise" but since He didn't say the word, "Heaven" some will argue the guy really didn't make it. ...ho hum.

    Making Easter glorious

TC, I have ALREADY left the church. I'm 71 next week and have been in church as a child, asked the Lord to save me in 1972. Again, glad to hear that YOU have had such good fortune in those 11 churches you've belong to but MY walk apparently has been a bit different than yours. At my age I've...

Well, have it your way, TC. Have it your way.

    Making Easter glorious

TC..., you're right..., to a point. You're reference to transference that is. Between you and me however I don't really take every opportunity to demean and denigrate churches at large..., just those churches owned and operated by families that do more harm than good. I've already stated...

    Making Easter glorious

TCassidy, if you consider your church one of the more dedicated then good for your church. Obviously, I have no clue one way or the other. For sure however, there are perhaps a few in your congregation that "give the appearance of". Well, that's between them and the Lord. It has been "my"...

Luke's use of the word "but"

"But For" has legal implications in law. As in, "but for the existence of X, would Y have occurred?"

    Making Easter glorious

    ...all churches are a mess.

    Making Easter glorious

...but, but, but..., most folks only want to hear the touchie-feelie stuff. You know, how we're ALL good and happy and we all need to smile more and consider the cost of those front row tickets and enjoy life. They certainly don't want to hear any BAD stuff. I mean, that might "offend" some...

    NAMB acting heavy handed

    Yep, 100% cheap political nonsense.

    Avoid legalism.....

iconoclast..., this is my position when it comes to a family owned and controlled church. Hey, is the church there for the Glory of God..., or for the ruling family? If the church was ever dedicated to the Lord at it's conception then the ruling family needs to go away. Relinquish control...

    Avoid legalism.....

iconoclast..., I 'gree wif ya! There needs to be structure in everything we engage in. Just consider the "laws" of nature. At the same time being burdened down with "unreasonable laws" is exactly that. A burden, which stifles any reasonable progress.
