    Question

Eternal: having no beginning and no end in time. Everlasting: lasting or enduring through all time. To me, our Lord is "eternal". Mortals will experience "everlasting" time.

    Continue Church Membership?

He apologized to the church in writing immediately upon confession..., does this mean he confessed once he was exposed/caught? Nothing wrong with ministering to him but chances are once he's able to fly to coop you'll never see him again. As the old adage goes..., "A friend in need is a...

    Can Light and Darkness co-exist?

Enter the darkest place you can find. Even an underground cavern if you can and light a match. The darkness flees instantly from the light. The darkness is constantly lurking to overcome the light but try as it may..., it can't. This is very impressive when shown to children

    Your By-Laws

Good for you folks! My church adamantly refuses to do so. They are of the opinion they don't need to do so and that God will not let it happen to begin with. ...amazing. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Two links I've found strongly suggesting action be taken...

    Can Light and Darkness co-exist?

Dwell in darkness or brush up against darkness? For sure those who "dwell" in darkness are lost. They are lovers of darkness. That's all they know.

    satan...Have you Met him?

beameup..., I have read an article or two regarding "shape-shifting" and after pondering the matter I said to myself...., "yeah, right! Sho'nuff. Yes indeed. I'll be on the lookout for such." Well, after pondering what I ran into last Sunday night I've come to the conclusion that I did in...

    Your By-Laws

Have any of you altered your current Church By-laws in an effort to protect from the various lawsuits based on the recent Supreme Court Decisions?

    satan...Have you Met him?

I do not capitalize satan as I don't consider him worthy of any special consideration. He is the angel of death and destruction and misery and everything evil. So, may I ask if you've ever met him? I was in a meeting last night with some members of our church and was presenting an issue that...

God is not going to punish sin?????

Many are of the opinion that if enough people gather together with the same common belief then God has no choice but to change and honor said belief's. I mean, God has finally come to realize there was no need for Jesus to die on the cross since the concept of a (pope) came into practice and he...

    A question about a gift

@agedman..., the GIFT of speaking different (languages) is certainly a gift. Like you I speak only English. In my humble opinion the utterance of gibberish no one can understand is NOT a gift. I heard of a woman who broke out speaking in tongues while in church and after she quit, a person...

    A question about a gift

wwjd_Unashamed, in Acts 2 the translators used the word "tongues" instead of "languages". On that day (Pentecost) there were 15 or so different peoples present and they all heard, in their own (language) tonuges, the wonderful works of God. v-11 "...we do hear them speak in our (language)...

    Paul Was Side Tracked...?

I 'gree wif' u Rev..., Accordingly, it might appear Paul stopped in mid stream to tell of the mystery and then came back to bowing his knee to that revelation from God toward the Gentiles. I'm not saying the scripture is wrong. Not at all. Just saying that as many of us do, we begin to...

    Paul Was Side Tracked...?

In Ephesians 3:1..., Paul begins with the following. "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles...," ...and then it appears that another thought might have crossed his mind and he goes right into another area. Then, in verse 14 it appears that perhaps Paul came...

    Been Bashed Until...

Nothing is being rubbed in as I deleted it myself. It had to do with an exchange I was having with a crowd of non-believers on another forum. Usually, anything posted on here involving more than a sound bite become misconstrued very quickly. It just wasn't worth the effort.

Should a believer sit on a DEATH Penalty Jury?

That movie, 12 Angry Men exposes the dirty side of prejudices. Individual personal issues come to light; exposes individual thought patterns; the need to think for ones self vice following the crowd. A very good movie that should cause the viewer to take a good hard look at themselves.

Should a believer sit on a DEATH Penalty Jury?

Rolf..., what I am trying..., was trying to say is..., if the jury comes predisposed to the death penalty that does NOT leave much room for the defense. Then, coupled with the fact that most jury members want to be home in time for supper..., the defendant doesn't get a fair shake. If it was...

Should a believer sit on a DEATH Penalty Jury?

It would seem to me that if all in the jury pool supported the Death Penalty the defendant might as well roll over and kiss his hind parts good by. If, on the other hand, a Believer might or might not agree with the death penalty some compassion might exist during the deliberation process...
