I think that where I went wrong (and Lakeside as well) was in questioning that DHK had ever been to Mass: we were in effect casting doubt on the veracity of his testimony in that way and DHK was right to rebuke us for it. I have apologised and I hope that Lakeside will do so likewise.

You're quite correct and I fully apologise for this and retract my earlier statement of suspicion that you never went to Mass etc. In my mind I had conflated your earlier statement about not having heard the Gospel with Lakeside's morphing of this into never having heard the Bible read at Mass...
