Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

So, if I were to interpret "The rest of the dead lived not" as meaning "the lost enter soul sleep" (which I don't (I guess)), what is wrong with that? You act like @JesusFan, frothing at the bit to bring down the charge of heresy. How would that be contradictory to scripture? IOW, what is so...

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Do you literalize everything in Revelation? Or only those things you think should be literal?

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Is this what you mean by soul sleep? Soul Sleep I simply quoted the scripture, "The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished." Is that what you call 'soul sleep'?

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

<sigh> My mistake. I'll rephrase, just for you: These DO NOT mean a very, very long time to wait. he Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant...

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

I answered that, I thought. Are these not what you people have dubbed 'the lost'? 5 The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection.

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Luke Chapter 23 43 And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise. 2nd Corinthians 5 8 we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Yea. This is NOT 'thousands of years and still waiting'. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John;,,,,,,, Blessed is he that readeth, and they...

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Is that what you all call that? The wicked ‘soul sleep’ till their judgement?

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

Lol, not living. 5 The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection.

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

I’ll ask again, where in Revelation does Christ set foot on earth?

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

No. I believe to be absent here is to be present with the Lord. @JesusFan does that make me a heretic?

Pinpoint the verse in Revelation where Christ sets foot on terra firma.

You do realize the Saints are reigning with Christ from heaven in Rev 20, right?

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

In your eschatology (I'm assuming it's pre-mil), are the saints resurrected to join in Christ's millennial reign?

Michael, the Chief Messenger = Jesus Christ?

Tom makes a good point. Excerpt from the article: "...Jude 9 seems to argue against Michael being Christ: “But Michael the archangel… said, “The Lord rebuke you!”. However, it is helpful to compare this with Zech. 3:1- 2, referring to the same event: “The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke...

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

You've a different notion of 'physical' than I do. To me 'physical' means solid material, has mass, weight, and takes up space. How does something like that penetrate through the casket & vault & 6' of earth to return to the 'physical' realm? This is not a ridiculous, unrealistic zombie movie...

Human vs. Divine Side of Jesus

In your view of our resurrection, if we’re buried 6’ under in a coffin & vault, how do we make it to the surface? And you never answered the question, can Christ’s kingdom be seen with the eye and touched with the hand? Is it of this world? Is it ‘heresy’ to ask these questions, heresy bird?
