    Dispensationalism

The Jews are not following the Law today when they celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. They are just going through the motions if it. They have no temple for the sacrifices which is the purpose of the feast. But that all changes in the future.

    Dispensationalism

I'm joking Ben, it's that I'm just lazy in my later years, and not ashamed of it. You can read all about in Num. 29:12-40 it's also somewhere in Lev. but I'm to lazy to look it up twice. FoT begins on the 15th day of the 7th month, and there's loads of sacrifices.

    Dispensationalism

Yes, along with millions of other Dispensationalists I believe the sacrifices at the reinstated Feast of Tabernacles, and probably other sacrificial feasts is a memorial to Christ in what He achieved for us on the Cross. As far as I know this will last for 1000 years and will end with the...

    The creation: origins

@SovereignGrace Ok, here it is, but remember these are not facts, they are the foundation of the Gap Theory. We can all breathe easy knowing it's only a theory. In Gen. 1:1 it is believed that God created the earth and heaven, the heaven with the stars, sun, ect. millions of years ago and...

    The creation: origins

All of it's shaky ground any way you go. That's the fun in digging in it, or in my case used to dig in it. You're sounding like a Calvinist, stop that, lol, and let's look at it tomorrow.

    The creation: origins

Well let's not wave the red flag just yet. I'll give you something to think about tomorrow when I have time to get in it and refresh my memory. Like I said, it's been a long time since I've been over and studied the creation.

    The creation: origins

There are several interesting points in Gen. 1 that support the Gap Theory. There is also a recap of the creation that's very interesting, but I can't remember all of it now. I'll have to take some time tomorrow to find all of it and point it out.

    The creation: origins

It was my understanding that the early technology in science began the consideration of the Gap Theory. I don't know, but the Gap Theory and science work together once you get into it.

    The creation: origins

I knew absolutely nothing about science and of all sources I learned a lot from the Atheists back when I used fight with them years ago. They know nothing of the Lord but they know their science.

There are some variations in the Gap Theory, do you see it similar as I explained or a different way?

    The creation: origins

As far as science I believe they are accurate to a point, I have no way of confirming they are, but they have discovered some very amazing things most believe to be true.

    The creation: origins

Well, we're all guessing here. The Gap Theory says that between Gen. 1:1/1:2 the rebellion of Satan took place. We can read about Satan's fall in Isiah and Ezekiel but we don't know when it happened, supposedly in the dateless past, but we know Satan had fallen by the time Adam was created...

    The creation: origins

How would you explain the scientific results of prehistoric remains dating back 100's of thousands of years, some estimated in the millions. Personally I believe they are in the ballpark.
