Asking angels for help is not praying to them. When you ask your friends for help, are you praying to them?

Thanks for your efforts, but I don't need to 'learn dispensationalism'. I've studied it in-depth for 50+ years, and so I know it quite well. That's why I reject it.

I am mostly open-minded on eschatology views. I would say I lean toward partial preterism or historicism. But I am strongly opposed to dispensationalism for the reasons I stated, and more.

I respect that. As for me, I would never worship angels.

I suppose I take a mediating position on this, similar to what the Anglican Communion does. I believe in the Communion of Saints, and angels, and I don't see a problem asking them to intervene on our behalf. But I don't go so far as to veer off into superstition and or even paganism.

I ask with my lips and my heart, and my mind and soul and spirit.

I have asked angels, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, to please make themselves real to me, to communicate with me, and I get silence.

I have never had any indication that there were angels near me, or that they have tried to communicate with me. I wish they would make me aware of their presence, if they are there.

My wife gave up on organized religion and churches a long time ago because they were all so 'clique-ish' and tribal. I keep trying to find one that isn't that.

I consider only direct revelation and communication to be direct knowledge. As valuable as scripture is, it still is other people's experiences and knowledge.

I do believe God communucates through all the ways you listed. But, except for direct revelation, aren't they all head knowledge or second-hand knowledge?
