    Real Angels

Asking angels for help is not praying to them. When you ask your friends for help, are you praying to them?

    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

Thanks for your efforts, but I don't need to 'learn dispensationalism'. I've studied it in-depth for 50+ years, and so I know it quite well. That's why I reject it.

    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

    I think that's reprehensible.

    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

I am mostly open-minded on eschatology views. I would say I lean toward partial preterism or historicism. But I am strongly opposed to dispensationalism for the reasons I stated, and more.

    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

I am not an advocate of 'replacement theology'; however, I also do not believe that Israel/the Jews are the center of God's history and that the church is merely a parenthesis, to be taken out of here so that God can deal with his true focus, the Jews and Israel! To me, that tramples underfoot...

    Real Angels

There are many things that I don't know, and many things I have doubts about. But there are also a good many things I am absolutely certain about -- 200% certain, if you will. A couple: That PSA is false, abominable doctrine. That the RCC is not the 'one true apostolic church'. In fact, no...

    Real Angels

I respect that. As for me, I would never worship angels.

    Real Angels

I suppose I take a mediating position on this, similar to what the Anglican Communion does. I believe in the Communion of Saints, and angels, and I don't see a problem asking them to intervene on our behalf. But I don't go so far as to veer off into superstition and or even paganism.

    Real Angels

I ask with my lips and my heart, and my mind and soul and spirit.
  10. E

    Real Angels

I have asked angels, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, to please make themselves real to me, to communicate with me, and I get silence.

    Real Angels

I have never had any indication that there were angels near me, or that they have tried to communicate with me. I wish they would make me aware of their presence, if they are there.

    Contact with God

My wife gave up on organized religion and churches a long time ago because they were all so 'clique-ish' and tribal. I keep trying to find one that isn't that.

    Contact with God

I've been to several Pentecostal churches.
  14. E

    Contact with God

I've visited different churches. No church I've ever been to has exemplified what I believe church should be -- an extended family.

    Contact with God

I consider only direct revelation and communication to be direct knowledge. As valuable as scripture is, it still is other people's experiences and knowledge.

    Contact with God

Affirmative to both your numbers 1 and 2.
  17. E

    Contact with God

Pursuing Him for all the reasons you mentioned.

Will the base stick with Trump?

Will the MAGA base stick with Trump if he sends ground troops to Iran and the war drags on for many months??

    Contact with God

I do believe God communucates through all the ways you listed. But, except for direct revelation, aren't they all head knowledge or second-hand knowledge?

    Contact with God

Could you offer a serious response?
