    The sheep and the goats?

In Matthew 25: 31-46 Jesus teaches about the end of the age of grace. He will begin is Millennial reign, sitting on His thrown. Some have read this passage and conclude, mistakenly in my opinion, that Christ's division will be based on works. But I believe "giving to Christ what He needed"...

    Understanding 2 Thessalonians 2:13

2Th 2:10 CSB and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved. Those chosen for salvation were chosen through or on the basis of their love of the truth, whereas those not...

    Understanding 2 Thessalonians 2:13

Idiotic absurdity, a total rewrite of the text. But will any poster other than myself stand up for God's word? Wait and see...

    The sheep and the goats?

No, I do not think I was "enlightened" by your post. First you stated you did not fail to address the Olivet Discourse. I did not say you did. I said you failed to address my explanation. Since you have no interest in actually discussing why the sheep are born anew believers, siblings of...

    Understanding 2 Thessalonians 2:13

2 Thessalonians 2:13 is a compound sentence, with subjects, verbs, direct and indirect objects. We should always give thanks to God for you as beloved by the Lord. Subject, =We; Verb = should give thanks, direct object = God; indirect object for you the beloved. We should give thanks to God...

    The sheep and the goats?

Complete fiction! The sheep are believers, the goats are non-believers. Let me go over it one more time. When do the Calvinists say we become "Elect?" Before creation. If we were sheep, we would be siblings of Christ, born anew children of God. We would not be children of wrath. But what...

Do We Need to Defend the Bible?

Here is the quote from the OP that I am disagreeing with, "There is nothing the Word of God that commands us to defend it. It is God's Word. He can defend His own Word." We are to defend God's word. What you disparage as a "hijack" I call a defense of God's Word.

    The sheep and the goats?

I already addressed this, and you ignored my explanation. See post #5. The sheep are believers, the goats are non-believers. And the deterministic is made after we physically die, as the opportunity to become a believer has ended. And again, there is no such thing as sheep nations and goat...

    Feedback?

One of the puzzling aspects of theological discussion is the perseverance of apparently false doctrines. Why are they not identified and corrected? In the material world, if you see a problem, say a bridge recently built collapses, the feedback from experience teaches those, to those proposing...

    Rightly dividing 2 Thessalonians 2:13

This is all they have, change of subject posts, attempting to turn the thread from biblical study to petty personal food-fights.

    The sheep and the goats?

I did not see anything in your post that addressed the sheep are separated as born anew individuals, siblings of Christ. It looks like you are not going to address our actual issue. My view does not change the meaning of words, or spiritualize them.

    Rightly dividing 2 Thessalonians 2:13

Sir, your view is from the beginning "of the Creation." which adds and is in violation. If you say, they are "understood," then so are mine. Your defense of falsehood is obvious and absurd. You did not either grasp or respond to the fact no one was chosen by being set apart in Christ before...

    Rightly dividing 2 Thessalonians 2:13

That is the CALVINIST REWRITE, changing salvation a Greek noun, into saved, a Greek verb!!!!!!!! They charge others with their malfeasance.

Show me one promise made to Israel that was not made to the church of the Firstborn!

    Is Ussher's Bible Chronology correct?

My problem with comprehension, is that I believe we have the Septuagint text and the Masoretic text, so we should be able to compare and like the two verses listed in the Post #2, list all the verses that account for the 1300 some odd year difference.

    The sheep and the goats?

My view, which you apparently disagree with, is that traditional dispensationalism is racist hog wash. No one can read Galatians 3 and believe we are not all children of God and heirs to the same promise. Their is no difference between Jew and Gentile in Christ!

    Rightly dividing 2 Thessalonians 2:13

Chosen through faith in the truth. That is what it says in black and white, with no reading between the lines or alteration.

The NASB: Is it really that difficult to understand?

I love the NASB, but it too has flaws, where other versions do a better job with some verses. It is very difficult to see the world through the eyes of another. People thought to be dumb, do not see the same things as people thought to be smart. And people thought to be smart do not see the...

    The sheep and the goats?

This post does not even address what I said. I believe the view of Galatians 3 which denies the separation of believers into two groups, we are all Israel. My view is called Progressive Dispensationalism, and you can study it on line. I explained that Joel 3:2 supports my view and precludes...
