    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

Then there was this dandy of a book written by John Hagee: Here’s a clear breakdown of the **prophetic claims from Four Blood Moons by John Hagee that are widely considered failed prophecies or expectations that didn’t come to pass by the time frames implied in the book: 1. “Something Big”...

Hal Lindsey’s 1975 book There’s a New World Coming: An In‑Depth Analysis of the Book of Revelation made a series of predictions and interpretations based on his dispensationalist reading of Revelation. Many of these were time-sensitive or presented as “imminent” events and ultimately did not...

    The "D" Chart: Part Deux

Failed predictions of the late Hal Lindsey's "Late Great Planet Earth" book: The Late Great Planet Earth (1970) by Hal Lindsey made a number of predictions that were interpreted—or understood by readers—as time-specific prophecies. Most of them did not happen, though Lindsey often avoided...

It this said this to me: "If you want, I can make a chronological list of every major 1970s dispensationalist prophecy that failed, including the exact predicted dates and the leaders who made them—it’s pretty fascinating to see how specific some of them were." Do you want me to make that list...

I asked ChatGPT this: Failed dispensationalist prophecies from the 1970's? (and yes, I realize its AI and may not be 100% accurate, but I figure its pert neer it) 1. Hal Lindsey – “The Late Great Planet Earth” (1970) Claim: Lindsey suggested that a series of geopolitical events (such as the...

@Ascetic X Sure it is. In every instance "soon" is used, it means "soon" not millennia later. What is up with you and @Charlie24 with all these claims against me that are baseless, meritless, and without claim? Why must you lay charges against me that are unfounded? I have never posted one...

    If your pastor did this

I highly doubt that pastor would.

    If your pastor did this

I would kindly tell him that my (our) taxes are between myself (and obviously my wife as well) and the IRS.

Everything is Not Out of Control, Everything is Under God's Sovereign Control

I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts, but I want to offer a little correction to this one. No one turns into a vessel of wrath (or even a vessel of mercy) but that was settled when God chose those to redeem via the Lamb.

Okay, let's connect the dots and see that I am right. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and...

That's why I made an amendment to that post as I posted it before I thought it through. Paul was executed by Emperor Nero around 64 AD, so the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple was yet in the future when Paul wrote Romans, and specifically 16:20. The Jewish Christians were suffering...

I want to clarify this. Jesus bruised/crushed Satan’s head at the cross and His subsequent resurrection. When the temple was destroyed, no one looked to the temple and those sacrifices any more. I believe that’s what Paul was referring to in Romans 16, the destruction of the temple.

You do know what I believe as I plainly told you. Not all of Revelation is fulfilled and there is a future, literal, physical second advent of Christ is plain for all to see.

I told you I believe in a future, literal, physical, second advent of Christ. I even said that not all of Revelation has been fulfilled yet. You’re bearing false witness against me my friend, and that’s a sin.

They used Rome to kill Jesus as they had no authority to kill him themselves. Many times in the OT, Israel was likened to a harlot for their idolatry. Hosea and Gomer typify this.

But when did Christ crush/bruise the serpent’s head?

    The "D" Chart

I didn’t say it was already fulfilled. You putting words in my posts I didn’t type. I do think many things that are being posited for future fulfillment, have already been fulfilled, but Revelation as a whole, has not been fulfilled. Now, let’s debate our differences.

But why can’t you? What is there to lose? This is a debate forum, so let’s debate. It’s not a place to solely state your opinion. It’s a place to debate what we believe, not just state our opinion. It’s not a sounding board forum, but a debate forum. So, let’s debate.
