Welcome from the Pacific Northwest.....

I can not speak for Bro. Pritchard, however in my reading of the thread I see no place where he stated his belief that "...........the Scriptures that inspiration is actually identified in Scripture to be a continuing attribute or quality that can be transferred in post-NT translations?" You're...

If this question, above, is the issue, I believe that Bro. Pritchard has more than adequately answered it. It seems you are looking to debate someone who is KJV-only, and has adopted the position that the KJV 1611 itself was as equally inspired as the original text. I don't believe anyone...

You have someone(s) in mind?

The bodies the Lord made for us are designed for optimum survival here on Earth, and not for traveling through space to other planets. It's not just getting to Mars, it's getting to Mars alive. Solar and cosmic radiation can be shielded to a degree, but then again Mars lacks a magnetic...

Eliyahu, you ignored my previous post. Those were fair and honest questions. Matthew 1:18 "18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost." Matthew 1:20 "20 But while...

Eliyahu, is there a point to all this? What is your motivation? Is it that you're single-handedly trying to change a basic doctrine of faith? Jesus was conceived in Mary by the working of the Holy Spirit. She was His MOTHER, not some "surrogate" or glorified incubation chamber. He grew in...

That's "don't know". Yeesh Mike...learn to type.

Firestone tire banner, Goodyear tires on the rack. Don't recall having squeege's back then. There's a charger for electric cars on the lower left pump. 32.9 seems kind of high for gas, but know know the date of the pic.

Was curious, so I looked up the "Infallible Guidance Doctrine"...Wow.. https://www.catholic.com/encyclopedia/infallibility

Just who has determined that the CC has an infallible interpretation of scripture? And, how did they determine it to be so?

Catholic Dogma.

Love 'em, all. In my experience, you'll most likely find these, and others like them, at an IFB church. I should have asked that question a few days ago....would have saved a lot of typing..;)

Jesus did not put that into place, but the way you suggest, it's up to the the Catholic Church on whether or not you go to heaven, as without their "ministry of reconciliation", you're doomed. Underlying it all, the Catholic Church is all about power and control over the people.

Its real.... Could you share the names of a few worship songs you like, or that you feel are suitable? People saying "I like this", or "Don't like this" is much easier to understand when examples are provided.

Amen! A worship song should have your heart reaching out to God, telling Him of your love for Him, thanking Him for His grace, and expressing our joy at being able to enjoy His wonderful creation of life.

I have -0- tolerance for "mean spirited people". May I ask, what did this fellow do, or say, that was so out-of-line? Was he preaching bad doctrine, or was he just a jerk?

I love to sing to the Lord, and generally prefer the older hymns that I know the lyric and words to. Having emphysema doesn't stop me one bit from belting out my love for the Lord in song, and fortunately when the whole church is singing my croaking gets drowned out. ;) Being hearing...

The Lord said it, and that's good enough for me. How He did it is irrelevant, IMO. We humans sure do like to complicate things.

I agreed with you that preachers should not be yelling and screaming at the church membership. That is all.
