It's 'grammar' brother. And pride I'm afraid.

Sure... I want you to teach me that you actually understand Greek.revmwc said:First you say I can't read it now you want a grammer lesson?
γεγεννηται is the word I already posted. But your not knowing that proves, again, that you don't know the first thing about Greek. And the "has been" is how a perfect tense verb is expressed in English. But, as you don't seem to know that, you seem to be as ignorant of English grammar and syntax as you are ignorant of Greek grammar and syntax. And gegennEtai= Born of and says nothing of has been but that one is born of usually following God that Theos.
γεγεννηται, got it. I posted it earlier, and again in my first response in this post. See it? γεγεννηται. That is the Greek word. γεγεννηται.Gamma epsilon gamma epsilon nu nu Eta Tai iota is your word with the Greek Alphabet which is that gegennEtai just for the record.
Grammar. The word is spelled "grammar." G R A M M A R.a grammer lesson?
I have sat under sound men and listened to them. I also have studied God's word with an open mind and sought the Spirit's guidance. Now just because folks differ in doctrine doesn't make one anymore right than the other except in their own eyes of course. Now I listen and go through and study what you folks say, problem is everytime I go study it out using as many different helps as possible I get an entirely different meaning than you and yet you and others always want me to change to yours. Have you honestly without prejudice or dependence on what you were taught by whomever taught you thought maybe that teaching was not correct? The pastor I came up under taught some things that I once believed doctrinally sound and find some things that I now disagree with Him on, while holding fast to others, you see teachers, pastors and professors are sometimes incorrect on some things. While spot on with others. I am not always right with what I believe but I am always open to opposing views until by study they are proven right or wrong. God gives man volition that is a hard fast truth, and with that volition man must make a choice to receive or reject Christ. God in His knowledge beforehand elected those who would be saved, because He knew the choices t hey would make. Those gegennEtai born of God that begat of God are begat because of FAith, Faith that by volition they place in Him. If any verb is used it would correct a are born of God. We are Born of God when we choose by Faith to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. My friend, several have here attempted to correct you on several areas of theology and soteriology many times.
Take some advice, you either need to go sit under some sound men and listen, and hang up your pride as you are in error, and allow correction. Or, you could listen to the good men of God in this thread who are attempting to correct you with sound instruction. Please do not teach this error to others. What you are teaching is grave error and that teaching needs to be opposed as does some of your other teaching.
How many years of graduate level Greek does that include?I have sat under sound men and listened to them. I also have studied God's word with an open mind and sought the Spirit's guidance.

That is what I said Sound men of God who know or knew biblical truth very wellNo, not the sound man at church, nor several sound men from other churches.
Sound.
Men.
i.e. men who are sound in doctrine, like Titus 2:2.
Well, something didn't take because you're not carrying their baton, and you're out on a limb as usual. It's not just that you differ in opinion. No no. You're in grave error my friend. That is what I said Sound men of God who know or knew biblical truth very well
Well I am taking care of the situationWell, something didn't take because you're not carrying their baton, and you're out on a limb as usual. It's not just that you differ in opinion. No no. You're in grave error my friend.

If I am in error the Holy Spirit will guide me. Not someone on this board, that is His job no one else's.I am sure you are...
I certainly hope you'll correct your error and that you'll quit seeing it as mere 'differing opinion' my friend.
