You misunderstood.

I am saying that the picture IS blasphemous. In fact, I posted that several times. As I look more carefully at it more problems with it comes up.

I did not see the lady to the left praying at first. Initially I did not recognize what Trump was wearing as an ancient Jewish robe (at first glance it looked to me as an old fashioned night shirt). What I saw as wrong was more supernaturally the image of healing the sick.

But that was at first glance. AND at forst glance I saw it as blasphemous. I took your suggestion and looked closer and AGREED it is even more blasphemous.

You are ignoring what I posted.

I NEVER SAID THE IMAGE WAS ANYTHING BUT BLASPHEMOUS.

What I said was about Trump's perception between the time he viewed the image and posted it.

Unlike you, I do not know if Trump studied the image or merely glanced at it before he posted it.

Unlike you, I do not know how Trump perceived the picture.

Unlike you, I do not know how carefully Trump considered the elements of the image.

Unlike you, I do not know if Trump was dealing with other issues when he came across the image and merely posted it or if he had it designed.


I am not sure, however, that the absolute certainty you have about your divine ability to know the mind of Trump is any less blasphemous than the image. Both serm pretty anti-Christian to me.

One does not have to be omniscient to see where President Trump is coming from. He has made many posts that show his narcissistic mindset.

I do need to warn you (and your supporters on this post).

I said several times (in EVERY post I made on this thread) that I believe the image is blasphemous.

You engaged in dishonesty with the quoted remark. That is just as anti-Christian as is the image.

We were not arguing about the image. I did say that I did not recognize some elements, and even now I do not know if it is supposed to be a collage or single image. That is not ignoring the image. I view the image as blasphemous, and stated so.

My statement is that being less than God I am not omniscient. I have no idea how Trump took the image, if he glanced at it or studied it, what was going through his mind, etc.

You seem to believe you have been gifted the power to know the intention and thoughts of Trump.

I cannot absolutely claim that you lack that power, but I do. I can only go by facts.

Trump has made a great effort to show himself as the great leader and savior of the world. It seems he has failed at both.

But to know Trump's mind, what he thought when he posted that image, one has to have divine attributes.

No. At best that is an attempt at humor that is idiotic and it bombed. At worst it indicates a extreme foolishness and lack of wisdom. A Messianic Complex is when leaders let in huge amounts of immigrants, enough to completely change the cultures of the countries they preside over, support all their needs perpetually off the backs of the local working population and then clamp down on anyone who dares question the wisdom of the "anointed ones". You know, like the one's who meet at Davos, or the leaders of Canada and England.

Warn you to be more accurate when dealing with other people's posts.

It is different to say "I disagree with your evaluation of the image", or "you may have missed the woman praying" and saying it was ignored.

Looking back at the image I still view the woman as praying (not to God). The reason is it seems to be a collage. I cannot see the images as linked (the soldiers floating up, the other woman, etc).

What I see as blasphemy is presenting Trump to have divine powers akin to Christ. But I kinda see the same in your posts.

Although we may not know the mind of Trump regarding the post, neither option is acceptable. Either he knowingly depicted himself as Jesus, or he demonstrated very poor judgment and made a decision without thinking through the results. Not that Donald would ever do that.
