Baloney.

However, since you are part of the nation then I certainly won't stand in your way if you want to answer for it.

How about you personally supporting what God says is evil, you give approval.

Is. 5:
20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Ro 1:
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29being filled with all unrighteousness, £sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, £unforgiving, unmerciful; 32who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

There were nations other then Israel God punished in the bible. And seemingly you think God will pay no attention to the fact of murder.

LIfe is in the blood. In the blood is DNA. DNA of an individual is formed at conception. Therefore individual life is formed at conception.

The Bible's recognition of life being in the blood confirms all requirements of individual life at conception. If at conception you, me and all that is here would have been lost to abortion none of us would be able to raise our voices to God Almighty for Salvation so free and glorious by the death, burial and resurrection of His Holy Son Jesus the Christ.

God will judge this nation, the world for this. Abortion is not just an American phenomena it is promoted all over the world.

Again, the Bible says that life begins with the first breath. And as I have said before, I am not thrilled by this, but that is what the Bible says. From a biological point of view I would agree that a life begins at conception. I am not sure about your DNA arguement and will think about it. DNA is in every cell in the body. It is interesting, at least to me, in that mitracondrial DNA is passed only by the mother.

Yes, I believe that abortion is a sin. I have looked at this issue in the Bible, and while I oppose abortion I have come to realize that a case against abortion cannot be built from the Bible.

Thank you for your answer Crabtownboy. I am glad you consider abortion a sin. Now, I understand your reasoning on the moment when life begins, as I have read your posts, but I see that this thought pattern is not in line with the OP - but it is a unique and different topic. So, since it is not prudent to hijack this thread, you should open another thread dealing with the question: When does human life begin? As you may know, this question is very popular within the scientific as well as the religious communities. And while you are at it, you should consider the two fundamental questions, which are related to each other, namely:

1. When does human life begin?

2. Should all human life be given equal protection under the law, or can certain human lives be discriminated against, and, if so, on what basis? :type:

Thank you, good suggestions.
