Trump said he will have the government paying for IVF, not tax tips, not tax social security (it wasnt taxed until Reagan's administration), not tax overtime, build the boarder wall, impose tariffs, build a pipeline, lower inflation, hive school vouchers, . . . and lower taxes across the board.

You left out the two most important items - a unicorn in every backyard and a rainbow over every house. ;)

I don't trust either side. But I like Trump better.

My job has built in overtime. I'd like it not taxed.

But none of Rightthese guys math adds up.

I get the feeling each side will just say what they think will get them elected.
Right!

There ain’t none a dat happening in Georgia save Atlanta right? Tell me now brother as I’m looking for retirement communities. Tell ya one thing, with no balls Walz I’m not considering Minnisota.
Atlanta, Macon, Athens, Savannah; all very liberal.
Augusta, not as bad, but too blue for me.
You ever looked at Anderson, SC? It's on Ga border. Very,Very Red. Good community with even better suburbs. Top notch hospitals in neighboring Greenville, SC.

Doesn't really matter. The major cities determine the direction of the state.

A lot do do around Greenville-Spartanburg. You can eat a "hash-a-plenty" at the Beacon and need those good hospitals. :Biggrin
You do understand my concern for a good hospital…preferably cancer orientation

Interesting commentary on Trump management style from Victor Davis Hansen

Psalms 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man,
In whom there is no help.

Psalms 20:7-8 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
They are brought down and fallen:
But we are risen, and stand upright.

You’re wrong about Reagan. Bill Clinton signed the bill that taxes Social Security.

As for who to vote for, I lived four years under Trump, and I have lived four years under Harris. I had four good years under Trump. I had four mediocre years under Harris.

That is your opinion. My opinion is that Trump's National Conservative acolytes would use him winning to set up a dictatorship for him to be the head of and attempt to end the United States as a representative republic.

Totally ridiculous. That’s a danger from Harris. Never happen with Trump.

Bill Clinton signed the bill that taxes Social Security.

Ronald Reagan signed the 1983 Social Security Amendments into law, which taxed up to one-half of the Social Security benefit.

"Congress passed and President Reagan signed into law the 1983 Amendments. Under the '83 Amendments, up to one-half of the value of the Social Security benefit was made potentially taxable income. The specific rules adopted in 1983 were:

If the taxpayer's combined income (total of adjusted gross income, interest on tax-exempt bonds, and 50% of Social Security benefits and Tier I Railroad Retirement Benefits) exceeds a threshold amount ($25,000 for an individual, $32,000 for a married couple filing a joint return, and zero for a married person filing separately), the amount of benefits subject to income tax is the lesser of 50% of benefits or 50% of the excess of the taxpayer's combined income over the threshold amount. The additional income tax revenues resulting from this provision are transferred to the trust funds from which the corresponding benefits were paid. Effective for taxable years beginning after 1983."
