After listening to the WOODSTOCK soundtrack, I would give an opinion, and as a professional musician, it is an informed opinion, that you cannot perform good music while on drugs. Add to that the sanitary conditions, and the fact that a half million people showed up expecting to be fed & cared for, I can honestly say I missed whatever "spiritual" thing was supposed to have happened. Looks to me to be what we would call in Military Law Enforcement a "target rich environment". What a bunch of doped-out miscreants. Thanx, baby-boomers.

I was only 8 when it happened, but I sure remember my dad's colorful language during that weekend. And I'll say in summation, if that's what that generation claims as a "success", it is no wonder this country is so messed up.

Move on, hippies. Take a bath, and get a job. You did NOT make the world a better place.

If the people have said they aren't getting divorced, why are their chrisitans lying about it and insisting they are divorcing? Are there more facts then the peoples word themselves? Who knows better if I am divorcing then me and my husband, then same holds true for anyother couple. There are people here glorying in a possible(although made up) divorce.

Same reasons death panels were debunked and clearly not in HR3200 yet Christians continue to spread those lies.

I guess Christians lie.

If I had been one year older, I would have attended Woodstock myself.

While Woodstock was going on I was working as an engineering draftsman at the Naval Ordnance plant in Louisville. I was between my Soph. and Jr. years in an engineering program. If it had happened one year later I might have gone. My life was changed irreversibly by an event that happened on Dec. 1, 1969, the draft lottery.

I find your claim of Vietnam era military service highly dubious. It is you who called our troops murderers in one of your previous incarnations. Veterans don't do that.

Highly dubious.

You may be drawing an incorrect conclusion about alatide and service in Vietnam.

I believe that he stated somewhere else that he served in the reserves.

I may be, but his history here speaks volumes. He also claims to be an engineer, but his writing skills are more that of a high school prankster. He claims other websites work as his own, via cut & paste. And he has been banned for rudeness & dishonesty, yet comes back like nobody would ever be able to tell it was him.

Dishonesty is his M.O..

I doubt his service. Perhaps he could prove me wrong. As a vet, who hangs around with a lot of vets, I know nobody who speaks of service people the way he does.

Where did I claim Viet Nam military service? I said that the draft lottery changed my life. It made me a liberal because there was no way I was going to waste my life by dying in that conflict.

How's this, alatude....you can refuse to serve when drafted & told to do so, I will use your "Christian" example to refuse to serve when they ask me to fund your health care, or your mother's, as well.

Thank you.

I didn't refuse to serve. If you don't want to provide health care to little grey haired women in their mid-90's that's your privilege.

Um, no it's not. I'm being forced to. I would rather you care for your own mother, and me mine. But you and yer zero-loving co-horts will make sure they both receive equally shoddy care.

And what if you don't have the resources to do that? What if you predecease your mother? What if you lose your job and with it your health insurance? What then? What about all the mothers whose sons aren't as loving and dutiful as you?
