These groups -- Christian Identity, Aryan Nations, KKK, Neo-Nazi's -- are roundly and uniformly rejected by ALL major mainline Christian denominations and fellowships. In short, they are "so-called" becasue they ARE NOT Christians. Remember the old adage "if you stand in a garage that doesn't make you a car?" Think on that for a while...maybe you'll get it...

On the other hand, MOST Muslim extremist groups have the support of Islamic governments -- Hezbollah = Iran, Hamas = Palestine & Syria, AlQueda = Saudi Arabia (at least part of it!), Sunni's in Iraq, Taliban SUnni's in Afghanistan, etc..., The Mahdi Army (Shi'a's in Iraq) = Iran.
FAR from renouncing or rejecting these terrorist movement, otherwise widely popular and accepted religious authorities in the Muslim world promote and fund them, and issue "fatwa's" in the name of Allah granting that they are doing his will in carrying out the violence.

For one to equate the "extremists" of Christianity vs. Extremist Islamofascism is to misunderstand both Christianity and Islam, and the cultures in which they exist. And, it's mind-shatteringly ignorant!

2) Irresponsible.

If someone on Baptist Board reads your misinformation and goes out and commits a crime against Muslims as a result of what you have posted, you DO stand to be held liable. There's nothing "hateful" about what I've written, I stand by it, and I'm not the least bit worried about being "held liable" for what I've written.

I am, however, worried about what may happen to our nation if we don't pay attention to what's happening around us.

We, friends, are the "infidels" and the ones upon whom Allah has commanded his believers to "wage war against" and "fight and slay". We have reason to be concerned about an increase in the number of Muslims living among us.

Remember, also, that our Lord Jesus Christ was put to death - as was the will of the Father - by those who were offended because he spoke against what they believed and practiced. So were many of the apostles who carried the Word to the corners of the world. So have many more of the saints before and since. Was He, and were they, "hateful" because they spoke against the false beliefs? No, the "hate" comes from those who do not believe and they really do hate Jesus and His followers. Some take it to the point of killing them and justifying it by their false beliefs.

As I wrote earlier on this thread: "We can not force anyone to believe as we do and, even if we could, such belief would be corrupt by our still sinful nature."

We can, by example, be an effective witness to the glory of Lord but it is He that will bring the Holy Spirit to move on the hearts of all who are lost according to His choice. None of us came by our salvation any other way.

No one here is advocating being a "militant" in the negative sense but only that we be wise to the potential risk we face in this country from the influx of Muslims; and that we not destroy ourselves by letting others use our own laws against us nor that we permit the government to regulate in a manner never intended by the founders.

Rude conduct is not an attribute of Christian behavior. Firm and frank speaking of the truth, however, is such an attribute. Neither should come under the force of law and most especially by the federal government.

The original issue here is that the actions of the child do not merit any intervention by the government and most certainly not under the guise of a "hate crime". The child should be disciplined and counseled by his parents as they see fit. Being rude may not be a good thing but it doesn't need to be regulated by the federal government.

Will the government next ban the Year of the Pig that comes every twelve years in the Chinese and Vietnamese calendars and is celebrated among those communities in this country? Someone somewhere somehow could probably be offended by this symbolic use of a pig!
