Abortion

I suppose, if you want it to be. But that does not prove your statement.
I suppose not.

That said, I do not know it is necessary to prove whether mixing worldly "truths" with Christianity results in worldly "truths".

I understand the need, but at the same time I think demanding Scrioture prove itself before it is accepted may be one issue in our churches today.

What if we just accepted Scrioture as true and then (from that acceptance) dealt with application? Personally I believe that the appropriate way to go. But I get I may be in a minority. We live in an age where science and reason prevails above all else.

To clarify, that was not my statement. I think it was Gene Carlson.

To any knowledge of mine it was your statement. You stated it.
And if you were quoting without credit, it should still be yours, just not original.

My conclusion as well. They are both buggered up.
The difference is that the Republican Party has maintained for over 30 years that "A Democrat can't be a Christian." I've heard this said to me 3 times and you see it plastered all over this board. A Christian is someone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and follows Jesus. Combining ANY other requirement with that is a false religion.

A few have said that - and it's a few who constantly say that - but I doubt that most Republicans who are Christians think that a Dem cannot be a Christian.

Do you have a valid link which validates your statement about dems not be a Christian.

Top Catholic Bishop on Biden: ‘How Can He Say He’s a Devout Catholic and…’

Every time you support the democrat party, you support abortion & gay marriage. I don’t care what you profess to believe, this is where you want the country to go, your vote is your voice of support, it’s loud & clear. How do you square that with being a Christian? Then you have the unmitigated gall to talk about other people’s judgement day? Plank.

OK then amend the statement... nobody who supports abortion can be a Christian.

Do you deny it?

‘This Is Politics’: Dr. Rachel Levine’s Rise as Transgender Issues Gain Prominence.

I guess God made a mistake, that’s the only thing that makes sense when a dem appoints ‘dr rachel’ as assistant secretary of health. HEALTH. Is this the picture of health that you want to portray? How many sexes? Which ones do they want to teach our children about? Oh yes....,,all of them, & they want to make sure our innocent children are aware, & curious about them, & it’s ‘teach’ that it’s ok to have two dads or two moms in the family unit, even though there would be no children in that family were it left to the natural order of procreation. That is not education, it’s indoctrination. More change that Christians who support dems need to embrace, & celebrate.

There are many godless people in the Republican Party, just like the Democratic Party. Both are self seeking and do not follow the King. To claim one is more evil than the other is like claiming which bullet will kill you faster.

You are in denial. Your lectures are inane. Obviously not all Repubs are Christians, but how many of those vote for the progressive agenda? If they do, like a couple in my home state did, they will be voted out (if we can stop the steal of course). Only red states are actively working to address the abortion issue, as well as working to defend our constitutional rights.
