ADD, ADHD, Panic Attacks... Spiritual or Physical problems? Or both?

I have told you nothing except that certain claimed disorders are due to sin and unforgiveness is one of the biggest reasons for them. Every instance in scripture is due to sin.
Since i do not listen to thos epeople you mentioned I could not say what they teach, and my guess is you are not telling the truth about them. That being said every instance in scripture where someone suffered what we today call mental illess it was due to sin. Nothing has changed.
That is the lies that is being told to the public which there is absolutely no scientific evidence of.
March 1999 I had by-pass surgery (5) and during my recovery experienced several attacks of depression which I can only describe as frightful. These .attacks only appeared in the evening about dusk. I recall I wanted to "jump off the world"'. I would tell my wife, come on I need to go for a ride and usually in 10 to 15 minutes I would be ok. I remember one time rolling down the window of the car and hanging my head out so the air could blow in my face. Fortunately these only lasted a week's or 10 days. This was as real as a tooth ache and had nothing to do with demons or "witchcraf''.
What a foolish statement. Every disease is a result of sin. We live in a fallen world in fallen bodies.
What sin has a new mother committed that brought about post postpartum depression?

Whether you read it or not, whether you check the source or not is up to you. But I will say this, you apparently have a very serious spiritual issue yourself.

2. Faith is the literal substance that God used to create the universe, and He transported that faith with His words. Here, essentially, is what God did. God filled His words with faith. He used His words as containers to hold His faith and contain that spiritual force and transport it out there into the vast darkness by saying, ‘light, be’! That's the way God transported His faith causing creation and transformation. The way that He created the world was that, first of all, he conceived something on the inside of Him. He conceived, He had an image, He had a picture.

6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

3. All things, including God, are subject to this ‘force of faith’ because it works according to spiritual ‘laws’ of the universe. There are laws of the world of the spirit.... The spiritual world and its laws are more powerful than the physical world .... The world and the physical forces governing it were created by the power of faith--a spiritual force. ..... It is this force of faith which makes the laws of the spirit world function. The force of faith is released by words. Faith-filled words put the law of the Spirit of life into operation.

4. The greatest thing God conceived of and created was an exact duplicate of himself. This duplicate god--named Adam-was God manifested in the flesh.

5. God eventually went to Adam, who was anatomically male and female, and separated the female part from the male part to make a womb-man (woman). Adam named this ‘man with a womb’ Eve. She, like Adam, was a god.

6. The Fall caused Adam and Eve's divine natures to be replaced with Satan’s nature. They also lost their rights of rulership to planet earth. Even God was barred from having full access to earth because Adam and Eve were under His lordship when they ‘fell’. Through their disobedience Satan became the god of this world.

7. God formulated a scheme to take back the earth, but in order to execute His plan He had to find a human who would invite Him (give Him permission) to work within the earthly realm. Finally, God got to a point where He had His plan ready for operation. And He saw a man named Abraham. In return for allowing God to bring the Messiah through his lineage, Abraham received unlimited health and wealth.

8. For centuries God visualized Jesus. Then, when it was finally time for the Messiah to come forth, God spoke him into existence through faith in the same way that He had visualized and spoken into existence everything else. Bringing forth Jesus, however, was also dependent upon whether or not Mary would lend her faith to help form the body of the Lord out of the literal ‘Word’ (confession).

Jesus remained sinless so He could redeem men from their Satanic natures.

To obtain specific desires, Christians must do three things: (1) loose the power of the “force of faith” by speaking or positively confessing whatever is wanted (e.g., ‘I am healed’, ‘I am not sick’, etc.); (2) believe that whatever has been confessed will definitely be received; and (3) ignore or look beyond the visible reality (i.e, remaining sickness, low finances, etc.) and continue claiming what has been confessed.

16. The power of audible confession is so great that sometimes a person can unknowingly bring tragedy upon themselves by making negative confessions. For example, a woman who is mugged may have actually caused that mugging if at any time prior to the experience she made comments like, ‘I live in such a dangerous part of the city that I'm afraid I’ll be mugged’. The woman should have been saying, ‘I will not be mugged’. Similarly, someone who jokingly says ‘I feel like I'm going crazy’ may actually become insane.

The above 16 points show how the Word of Faith teachers have corrupted the truth contained in the Word of God into gross heresy. I cannot say that all those caught up in the Word of Faith movement are unsaved but they are surely following heretical teachings.

I have similar problems. They are as much physical as they are emotional, and with counseling and medication, you can gain the upper hand!
This by no means that we should ignore prayerful counseling and help. The pray should be our first attempt to find help, and prayer should continue for as ong as you need it to cope with the problem and that includes counseling and medication.
Let NO one shame you. It is a thorn, and I would study 2 Cor. 2:1-10, and commit it to memory. If Paul had a thorn that God did not remove, it shoud signal us with phsycial or emotional problems, that God is going to be greater than the thorn and HIS grace is more than sufficient in getting us through!
I have not read the other comments, brother, I am merely responding to your question, and I want you to know I am adding you to my prayer list, and entrusting these problems to God along with you, and we both know that Jesus told us in Matthew 18:19-20 where two of more gather in His name, and pray, not only will He be there with us, He will do it for us! I'd say that this is a spiritual slam dunk!
You may always have to deal with the panic and anxiety, but, you can rise above it and live with it not letting it control you, because He is greater than and more sufficient than any panic or anxiety you will ever experience!

...is a physically documented problem. It is as real as a toothache, or a heart attack, and certainly has nothing to do with witchcraft!
My dad had by-pass, and suffered similar problems. My good friends husband had by-pass and similar problems.
People of faith need to get a grip. Emotional illness is no different than a physically observable one. They exist, and have nothing to do with a ersons lack of faith; sin in their life or let alone the devil! To say differently is not of God or the Scripture and it is only conjuring up guilt within the persons mind and no less an attempt to pass on lies of the devil to get the person to doubt God's presence in their life!

Somethings are real, and like Paul's THORN, God does not always choose to remove it! NOw that is Scripture, and anything that doesn't agree with that, is a lie of the devil and a sin, the sin of causing another doubt and tripping up their faith in God! Those that blame sin and the devil for everything that happens in our life are true stumbling blocks to people learning to live with a thorn and apply the fact that god is more than sufficient in our weaknesses, physically and amotionally as well as spiritually! It became one of those fight or flight responses, and after spending over a year in the WW2 arena in Germany right before D-Day and his mopping up duty, he came home with PTSD, but they had no name for it than. We just made sure we stood at the foot of his bed, and wiggled his toes, while gently calling his name!

Explain Old testiment Saul. He had the same symptoms. Sin is the issue.
You use yourself as an example but it is you who believes in a false doctrine of prayer languages. if you are deceived in one area it is reasonable to assume you are deceived in others as well. Every instance in the bible where someone suffered from so called mental illness it was die to sin. There is absolutely no scientific proof that there is such a thing as mental illness as in chemical imbalances, NONE! So I would say if you want a life you need to believe what the bible teaches and not some snake oil salesman.
So to keep this on track with the OP such claims are spiritual. I am sure that if King Saul of the OT and King Nebuchadnezzar were alive today they would both be diognosed as metally ill and given drugs when their problems were spiritual.

The scripture also states that Jesus cast a demon out of an epileptic (a term used in other translations) at the base of the Mount of Transfiguration. It used to be thought that all epileptics were demon-possessed. Do you agree with that prognosis?

All the problems mentioned in the OP are legitimate medical and mental health issues, and while I suppose Satan could use them to afflict someone if he wanted to, I can't imagine why he would want to. He has so many other more effective weapons in his bag of tricks.

I had terrible anxiety attacks and we determined that they were diet related. Once I changed my diet, they stopped.

In my dealings with folks who have ADD, ADHD or whatever the acronyms are today, I believe we need to stop medicating these folks with the class of drugs that we're currently using. We are producing a generation of folks with some serious head problems. This is one of the most unnatural things I have ever seen. People shouldn't struggle mentally so much over stupid stuff. But I seriously think this stuff has altered brain chemistry and now we've got a bunch of folks whose brains are so screwed up, that they can't deal with things in a manner "normal" minded people would. They lose their tempers. They get agitated about nothing. Everybody is bipolar. Everybody is suicidal. Everybody has these self-destructive personalities.
God help us because we've created a juggernaut of mental sickness by medicating folks for these things.
I don't EVER remember needing anything except discipline to make me focus on what I needed to do. Now it's easier to just medicate folks. And we're payng the price with a generation of absolutely crazy-minded kids. It is monumentally sad.
I can't even properly describe what I'm seeing in the folks who are now adults who have used that stuff as kids.
It's pretty much the same as I see in people who have been addicted to cocaine or meth. Their heads get messed up.

I believe that drugs are often over prescribed for children who may show some symptoms of ADD and ADHD. Use of these drugs may be encouraged by teachers who don't want to deal with problem children!
That being said to deny the existence of mental and emotional disorders is complete and utter nonsense!
