You did just wonderful brother! I always love how Calvinism is put aside and the biblical invite is given when the Christian calvinist comes face to face with a witnessing moment. You did well! Blessings! I will be praying for her to see Jesus and make the call.

Your post # 7 started the destruction of this thread. And you get mad when I and TCassidy rebuked you?

You must not be a Calvinist. There is nothing one can do to cause a person to believe on Jesus Christ. All you can do is tell them the gospel and see if God saves them. Doesn't matter how nice you are to them.

And then this foolish post here, too. Shoo fly, shoo!!

You was the one who started it on its downward spiral Monsieur. If you do not like it, do not post. No one is forcing you to post your foolishness.

Deflection again. Deal with the content of my post. Four Calvinist believe non-Cals hate the gospel.

This received two "dumbs". Amen!

I have a hunch, just a hunch, but I wouldn't doubt the Holy Spirit was burning within your heart urging you to tell her 'God cares, and God sees your problems and loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you through Jesus Christ. God wants you to have an abundant life and eternal life with Him'. But Calvinism quenches the Spirit, and your mind could not bring yourself to obey the Spirit. For the doctrine of Calvinism cannot tell a stranger God loves them. Kinda sad.

I could be wrong, that's between you and God, only you know how the Spirit was leading you at the time. I know when I am confronted with these situations the Holy Spirit wells up inside me directing me to tell them Jesus loves them and desires to have a relationship with them. As the conversation continues the Spirit leads me to invite the person to place their trust and faith in Jesus Christ and pray, calling on Him for the wonderful power of regeneration through the Holy Ghost!! What a blessing being counted as worthy to work the fields of harvest with the Holy Ghost Himself!! Praise Jesus!!!

Then your post # 24.

I did not deflect anything, you just got your feelings hurt by being rebuked. You brought nothing to this thread but your anti-Calvinism hatred.

No, you said I hated the gospel, not Calvinism. Is that because you got your feelings hurt?

I never said you was unsaved, Monsieur. Show me where I said such.

Explain to me how a person can hate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, all that is holy and Godly, and be saved by the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the same time?

Where did you say such? #57, "Your truncated, neutered gospel? You can have it. It will not save one soul".

I put him on "Ignore" a long time ago. He is so filled with hatred that he is blind to the truth of Salvation by grace alone through faith alone. And hatred that massive is really sad. I can't help but think it is a symptom of a more serious issue. Perhaps he should seek some mental health counsel? :(

And this is good for the board to watch and see how Calvinism can lead God's children into personally attacking other children of God who do not agree with a particular theology. These remarks actually vindicate my position. What is ironic is the very one's declaring hate are the very one's posting hate. By their own words they condemn themselves and don't even realize it. But the board by large can see and judge.

When Adam sinned all mankind was imputed Adam's sin. If God had not sent Jesus, that hatred would have been upon all mankind. That is what propitiation means. It satiated, appeased God's wrath, God's justice. Christ's propitious works was for those chosen from the creation of the world. Esau, not chosen by God, was an object of God's wrath. Read Romans 9.

Your truncated, neutered gospel? You can have it. It will not save one soul.

I know SG isn't seeing this anymore but maybe another Calvinist can answer. SG said basically this choosing was all done before the creation of the world. Since there was no Adam and Eve before the creation of the world, and thus no offense passed on to Esau as of then, then how was God offended by Esau's imputed sin even before Adam was created?

This thread was going along swimmingly until he showed up on the scene with his backhanded compliment in post # 7. Then his anti-Calvinism spiel destroyed this thread.
