2BHizown said:Why do you fellows scream in red? So rude!
No one wants to listen when you do that!
2BHizown said:How, in what way? What is your point?
I am not following you! Please explain what your thoughts are here.
2BHizown said:Well, we will all always have our sin nature with us until in heaven we are glorified.
It is the law that shows it to us as we are unable to keep the law.
Though we have a sin nature(our carnal self) if we are christians, have been born again we now have access to His strength, His power to overcome temptation. We have nothing on our own. We are without value. Our whole value is in Him. Our resources to overcome are all in Him.
I think that is what you are asking. Is that it?
We have temptations that pull at us to follow them and we can do just that. But if we have been born again our greatest desire is to please God and do HIs will. Therefore we call on Him in our day of trouble and He will answer! There is no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man, but God is faithful and will with the temptation, provide a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.
2BHizown said:NO, you speak of antinomianism.
People who deliberately remain in a sinful lifestyle only show they were never saved!
Paul addresses this thought in Rom 6:15 declaring us as christians to be freed from sin, from the desire to sin. When born again we have a new nature that desires only to please God. We are now servants of righteousness and though we do sin at times we are forgiven and seek to be restored. By being servants of God we now have fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life!
Our church practices and upholds church discipline and screens potential members to be as sure as possible they are born again and living a godly life!
Boy, am I glad to see someone on here believes in the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord.NO, you speak of antinomianism.

Brother Bob said:2BHizown; Are you among those that believe that Christians commit adultery, kill, steal, lie, worship idols, covet their neighbors wife, dishonor their father and mother? There are many on here that believe that I was just wondering if you are one of them? Don't get me wrong, I believe that we all sinned and broke the Law and come short of the Glory of God and needed the blood of Christ to put off the old man and put on the new.
Are you worshipping in a church where your fellow members are some adulterers, others liars, others killers, others theives and even some that have a golden calf that they worship?
Do you believe in a God that is able to born you again or not? What about people who want to live a godly life, but just aren't able to get a handle on their sins. Do you suppose those people can claim the blood of Jesus?
