Where are you getting this nonsense? No barricades have been removed, people are bing check in and out and the police are still not allowed to enter the area. The people in that area are arguing among themselves as to what to do. As for the Mayor, the woman is a dimwit, a total leftist wacko and she has helped destroy Seattle by allowing rampant drug usage and homelessness. The last time I was there was about 15 years ago and that is what I saw - people using drugs and sleeping on the streets. The place is a cesspool thanks to Democrat "leadership".

In interviews with area residents I have heard on the radio these people say they are terrified because of what is happening. People are banging on their doors and gates at night and gunshots are going off. A CNN reporter was about to be attacked by a "protestor" as he was doing a live roll. Yeah, a nice and peaceful place for sure.

I don’t know why I give you the benefit of the doubt after all the fake news I read here, but until you show some evidence, all this is under the category of rumour. Even if true, it sounds pretty consistent with what Best described.

I think your assessment is far fetched. There was a report today that some Antifa type people were going to do the same thing in Nashville, Tn. The Governor of Tennessee said such a thing won't happen anywhere in his state. Others might also try this same nonsense in other localities, but if the authorities in charge are like those in Tennessee it won't happen in those places either. I know my Governor, Rick DeSantis would quickly put the kibosh on any of that kind of nonsense happening here in Florida, no matter how leftist the local Mayor was.
