Anyone ever done this before?

My friend (whom taught WOTM at a church) thinks that instead of writing letters to deaf ears apostates, why not show up after a service and pass out tracts. Anyone ever done this? I imagine all the apostate can do is threaten to call the police and then we just move onto another apostate church. The abortion centers are private property and they are used to protestors, not all of them for christian causes, but I bet the apostate churches get few protestors. Perhaps a way to apply Jude 23. We will do this together so I will have backup. This appears to be a good idea as the naive people are deceived and in need of proper direction.

Can I ask you how much time are you devoting to this? How much time are you devoting to earning a living and paying off your debt and how much time are you devoting to your wife and your own home church?

Then expect the JW's, Mormons, 7DA, ect, to be at your church passing out their literature. I just know that your pastor will love you for that.

Just wondering - does your wife go out on these missions with you?

SMH. Are you trying to start something?

You know it just doesn't seem like you're trying to point them in the right direction.

This is a bad idea. All you will do is make them dig in their heels.

I don't get it. Every time I read about what Evan is doing, I'm reminded of the Westboro group.

Isn't there a Biblical method for how such things are supposed to be handled.

Sounds like a great idea to me. You could tailor your Chick tract usage depending on which cult you were engaging.

Uh, churches, including parking lots, are private property too.

If you or someone like you showed up at my church and started passing out literature, I would have you escorted off the property, be they tracts, political information or sales brochures. Surely you have better ways to spend your time.

We are targeting the deceived people and there has to be a number of them in the false churches. If we get kicked off, then there is alway another church as there are DOZENS of apostate churches in the Denver Metro area. Hmm.... But we could pass out tracts and do some open air preaching just outside the church parking lot so the people coming out will hear us.

Isn't that just a bad way to reach people? If it were you, would you really consider listening to someone who causes a scene at your church and then says they are trying to help you?

In the pantheon of bad ideas, this is one of the worst.

Please take videos and post them on YouTube. You could get a lot of subscribers. And the video will be great evidence for the trial.

If I had cancer and or was in a cult God would be helping me by bringing an evangelist to rescue me from the fire (Jude 23).

I dont care what you think I care what Jude 23 teaches which you ignore.

Evan, I had a brother in one of my earlier churches pass out tracks at adult book stores. He'd slip Chick Tracks inside the magazines and books, and while I didn't approve of his form pf witnessing, he was able to see many men call him (he left his number on the track) and talk about Jesus (per him), and he invited them to his sexual addiction Bible study, leading many to Jesus over the years.

Have you ever considered this, or do you know of anyone who does this?

Well....... Not sure on that one as it may lead me to sin. But if not it may be a good idea.
