Do you seriously not understand the differences in the two statements? Please explain to me the difference you are referring to. The Spirit guiding in specific spiritual matters is still the Spirit guiding. So what is the differences you are referring to?
One is talking about the Spirit guiding and the other where the Spirit is guiding.
The difference is not Scripture but grammer and sentence construction.
I can say the driver drives the car. I can say the driver takes me to Nashville. The sentences may both be true, but they are not the same.
Saying the driver drives is like saying the Spirit guides Spiritually. That is a "duh" statement.
Saying the Spirit brings the believer to a spiritual understanding is not the same as saying the Spirit guides spiritally (something I suspect you know....but it's a fun exchange anyway so I'll play).
