I agree.
But who runs the "academy"?

Who determines what the local body of believers teaches, and who they are composed of?
The Bible is what guides us, but God has given us these blessed ppl to teach us. Look at the book of Acts for instance. They studied it together. They went from house to house breaking bread(I think this was their way of expressing having meals together and not necessarily having communion daily, but I can’t help but think they had church daily).

I'm not here to convince you of anything, Willis, except the sufficiency of God's word alone on any given subject...
Not the sufficiency of commentaries + God's words.

To me, it's the same principle as "monergism" versus "synergism".
Well, sermons are forms of commentaries.

Dave,
Respectfully, what I see is someone who sees what he has come to believe, and is arguing with those who don't see it the way that he does.

Should you not present God's word on the subect, and let the reader decide?
Aren't you Premillennial?

Yes, I am, and I'm not going to get into a debate with you over it.
Debating is not godly ( Romans 1:28-32 ) and is not a fruit of the Spirit ( Galatians 5:22-23 ), but rather a work of the flesh ( Galatians 5:19-21 ).
