Babies in hell?

Are people born 'hellbound' due to Adam's transgression?

I agree. But ppl think there’d going to be kids playing in the eternal state. They think there’s going to be babies there, too. If that’s true, they elderly folk will be there, too.
I thought only Catholics saw a baby filled Limbo! I see all persons in heaven being the "same age", as adults!

Well, the Bible doesn’t explicitly say He does that. There just isn’t enough biblical support one way or the other of their eternal destination.
True , but I was trusting in the Lord to do what He saw as being the right and best thing....

Mt 18:13 says, "And said verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become AS (like unto) little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. This is the sense/context used in Mk 10:15. The teaching of "like unto" is frequently applied in both the old and new covenanst. We see the term "little children in I Jn 2:13, 18, 28, 3:7, 8, 4::4, and 5:21. None of the applications used by John mean a literal infant or child. He is addressing a body of believers. They were as children in the new covenant who could only take the milk and not the meat. They, like unto little children, had to have faith that Christ was leading them into the NEW covenant. as the true kingdom of God

Little children believe ppl. They trust ppl. Jesus said those who trust Him, need to trust Him just as kids trust ppl. Not that the eternal state is populated with a bunch of kids playing on a play ground.
Little chidren trust their parents. And without being of an age where they can make a desision to believe the gospel they are safe. We must be as little children. Not in the lack of ability to trust the gsopel but born of God to be a child in God's sight. John 3:3.

John Newton, sermon, "The Song of the Redeemed":

"when our Lord says, 'Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven,' (Matt. xix. 14,) he does not only intimate the necessity of our becoming like little children in simplicity, as a qualification without which (as he expressly declares in other places) we cannot enter into his kingdom, but informs us of a fact, that the number of infants who are effectually redeemed to God by his blood, so greatly exceeds the aggregate number of adult believers, that, comparatively speaking, his kingdom may be said to consist of little children. The apostle speaks of them as not having 'sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression,' (Rom. v. 14,) that is, with the consent of their understanding and will. And when he says, 'We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,' he adds, 'that every man may give an account of what he has done in the body, whether it be good or bad,' 2 Cor. v. 10. But children who die in their infancy have not done any thing in the body, either good or bad."

As I see it, Newton must have missed Psalms 58:3.
Babies sin whenever they throw a temper tantrum.

Ask any parent...they learn how to manipulate situations very quickly.:Sneaky
They go from crying due to soiling, hunger, pain...to crying for attention and crying because they are angry or want something that Mom or Dad says, "No" to.
The "Terrible Two's" are long past the time when babies learn to lie about their needs.;)

I think the truth is, most people don't want to admit that God's perspective of the children of Adam is far different than our own perspective of them.
We consider children innocent until proven guilty or until they commit "heinous" sins or "come of age".

God considers all of mankind as guilty ( Romans 3:10-12, Romans 3:23, Ecclesiastes 7:20, etc. ) until or unless justified by His grace ( Romans 3:24, Romans 8:33 ) .
All it takes is one sin ( James 2:10 ), whether in ignorance or knowledge, because God's word tells us that the law is written in our hearts ( Romans 2:12-16 ).

We know God's "right from wrong" without ever needing to be taught it, according to Scripture...all the way from birth to death.
From my perspective, Romans chapters 1-3 condemns us thoroughly.:(

I think that Hades refers to the grave in this instance. Before Christ rose from the dead, I don't believe anyone actually went to Heaven, but to "Abraham's Bosom", sort of a holding place. This is where both David and his infant son were during this time.

From 1 Thes 4:16 and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be (vi Fut vxx 1 Pl) also in the likeness of his resurrection: Rom 6:5 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall (vi Fut Act 1 Pl) also live with him: Rom 6:8

Is dead in Christ a conditional state?

and that he was carried away by the messengers to the bosom of the Abraham. Abraham, the father of the faithful. From Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, ---- Dead in a conditional, state. Not having received the promises.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's (In, the bosom of the Abraham) seed, and heirs according to the promise. Heb 11:39,40 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

What better thing? Verse 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Translate Hades grave if you like but it will still be Hades and the soul David is still there, still in the bosom of the Abraham, still dead in faith.Heb 11:39,40 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Acts 2:31 NKJV “he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

His soul is in Hades, and he saw corruption. He went to his infant son.

Yep as they get older and quit trusting their parents is when they are mature, for they have then eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Wait a minute!
