Thanks, Roger! I have tried several different plug-ins and even more programs, but none of them worked all that great. But ePrompter pulled up each and every one of my email accounts, first try.

True, it only gives you the text, but it keeps me from logging in to all of them just to see if I got any mail.

    Great find!

    In Christ,
    Trotter

I use Paint Shop Pro (7.00) For graphics
I Use Front page 2000 for my Webspaces ( when I have them )

Both offer trials before you have to buy, both are about the cheapest for the "expensive" tools.

And i've downloded Open Office I'll install it when I get up and we'll see how it goes.

    Doing a church newsletter?

PagePlus SE is the easiest way to get professional desktop publishing results on your desktop printer. No experience required!

    http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/

You register it for free (submitting your email address) and then they send you monthly newsletters telling you the advantage of version 8 (which is sold -- not free).

for an image storage place online, this one is great! Image Shack The storage is unlimited forever and it doesn't resize your pics to smaller ones. You can store huge pictures on it. I use it alot and love it.

How about a freeware to record from outside devices (cassete players, etc) to the hard drive? Anybody know of such?

There is some software called "All2Wav" that will record anything coming across your sound card. I used it to pull a couple of sound clips from a movie playing on my DVD player.

I downloaded the Avant Browser last night and really like it!

I also made note of Irfanview. Paint has disappeared off my computer at school and I'm the webmaster. I've been having to do all image resizing, etc at home. I'm hoping it will fit the bill for what I need there.

This is a great thread! Thanks for starting it Pastork.
