Biden Officially Secures Enough Electors to Become President

We already know that Republicans in Congress are planning to block the certification. Or have you not been paying attention?

Won't be anywhere near enough to stop it when it is all said and done. But surely you know that. A few gadflies will be easily flicked aside.

"Why a challenge likely won't work in a GOP-led Senate

It’s simple: the math. Arizona Sen.-elect Mark Kelly, a Democrat, will take his seat later this week, leaving Senate Republicans with a 52-48 majority. But on Jan. 3, when the new Senate convenes, it’s likely Republicans will be down another member because Sen. David Perdue’s reelection fight — the subject of a Jan. 5 runoff — will still be pending. Perdue’s current term will expire, and his seat will become vacant until a runoff winner is sworn in.

Perdue’s absence would leave Republicans with virtually no margin to sustain election challenges, which require a simple majority. And that’s before factoring in the small but growing number of sitting Republicans who have acknowledged Biden’s win, called him president-elect and urged Trump to move on.

GOP Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana have described Biden as the winner or the “president-elect.” That’s more than enough to sink any challenges brought in the Senate."

Read up on procedure. Even if there is a tie in the Senate, Vice President Pence is the tie breaker.

It's not gonna be a tie. Dream on, if you want, but that's it will ever be - a dream - actually, your dream is a nightmare for those of us who support this representative constitutional republic form of government and don't want to see Trump and his allies overthrow it.

Why are you advocating overthrowing the will of the voters? I did not vote for Joe Biden, but I would be outraged if the Arkansas state legislature attempted to overturn the will of the voters of Arkansas and given Biden Arkansas' electoral votes. After all, Arkansas also opened up the mail-in voting process to be able to use the pandemic as a reason to vote by mail.
The whole point of the legal challenges is just that. We do not believe Biden's "victory" was the will of the voters. If it was an honest election we could live with it. Praying for justice to prevail.

Again, you ignore how the process actually works. The EARLIEST he could become President-Elect is January 6th if Congress certifies the vote. But we already know they are not.

and "President-elect" has NO official standing.

You would support a crooked victory just as long as it favored you. Well, Biden’s crooked victory does favor you so be happy.

You would be outraged if the election workers rigged the voting machines, lied and claimed there was a water main break, then pulled out a bunch of ballots and continued counting when the observers left until a magical margin of victory appeared for their candidate. This is not the "will of the voters", this is election fraud and should be treated as such.

Anyone with half a brain and integrity knows this election is not on the level.

Any true American knows that Joe Biden won fair and square. Such a bunch of anti-American drivel is being spewed out by Donald Trump and his acolytes.
