The foreign policy of President Bush is a travesty. It has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. The focal point is his lack of leadership ability and ineptness. To say he is better than the usual liberal clowns of Obama, Kerry, Gore, Carter, and Clinton does not excuse his lack of doing his job. They may have done worse, but we as a country can do better than the whole lot of them.

If you are going to fight a war, you fight to win, and you go to war on honest premises.

Too bad for our nation, but the Republicans, all of them, both Congress and the President, deserve to get thrashed at the polls this November. Maybe when they get it through their thick, self serving, power hungry heads that they are elected to serve the American people, and govern by the conservative principals that they promised, maybe they will regain power.

Thank you for taking the point I was trying to make and summing it up in a nutshell. You are right on!

My point is, Bush is a hypocrite and has a record of not only negotiating but HELPING terrorists by some of his foreign policies.

You mean because Hamas stole weapons intended for the PA?

And he knew and Congress knew about China's human rights violations when they granted China Permanent Normal Trade Relations with the US, all for $$$ - greed.

Well I am no fan of China, and I don't believe we should have entered into normal trade relations. But it was something being pushed long before Bush took office and it was considered to be a Carrot, something that would draw China into the mainstream of nations.

And btw, this Permanent Trade Normalization policy was passed in 2000, before Bush took office.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. Senate on Tuesday voted to permanently normalize trade ties with China, capping years of negotiations with Beijing and intense lobbying by the Clinton administration, business and labor interests.

The measure granting permanent, normal trade relations passed by a lopsided 83-15 tally in the Senate, after winning approval in the House of Representatives at the end of a bruising battle in May. President Clinton hailed the vote Tuesday as a turning point in relations between the world's richest and most populous nations.

They are not running for president. They are no threat to the election chances of Senator John Sidney McCain III.

Bush was speaking to an Israeli audience about matters concerning them. It was not a campaign stop.

I agree with President Bush whether or not it was directed at Senator Obama, former President Carter, or whomever.

True.

But it is interesting that those with a guilty conscience began to whine first and the loudest.

Yep. You might very well be correct. President Bush must be feeling very, very guilty about creating the Iraq debacle the thousands of Americans and innocent Iraqis who have died because of his foolish judgment.

No he didn't Ken. I realize you continue to be out of touch with reality, but Bush has been saying that for years. It was not new. Obama is misguided. He continues to demonstrate severe political immaturity and misjudgment. Being charismatic and eloquent makes for good campaigns and bad presidencies. Obama should have bold his people to shut up the minute he heard them complaining about this. But because of his lack of judgment and temperament, he did not do it. He continues to reveal himself to be unfit for major office.

Well, we know for certain after almost 7.5 years that George W. Bush is unfit for major office.

There are no indications that such is the case.

He leaves the whining to appeasers like Carter and Obama.

That isn't the topic of discussion here. You are trying to avoid responsibility for your wrong voting choices (at least as of now ... given your record, chances are at least even that you will change several times between now and the election).

And that's the problem with politicians of your ilk. You don't take responsibility for things. You respond with "Well look at him," as if that is helpful. It isn't. Take responsibility for your bad choice (as of now) to vote for Obama. Repent of it. There is still time to change your mind and do the right thing.

It really doesn't matter. In a few months , he'll be gone from office.

Dwelling excessively on the past and continueing to nurse your hate for Bush will hinder you in the future.

Time to move on. :wavey:

He didn't....The leftists Dem's who felt, deservedly, guilty, did. Shame on them.

This is an ignorant statement. Bush, doing John McBush's, uh I mean John McCain's bidding, used this to bash Obama. For someone to deny this is to deny reality. All Obama did was to call Bush on it, which he should have done.

The good thing is that the American people will see this for what it was; it will probably add to the overwhelming support Obama already has, and make it easier for him to defeat the McCain this November.

Funny, you speak of overwhelming support for Obama. When I talk to strangers in public places, in line at the post office, grocery store, etc., they all echo my thoughts that it will be a sorry day for this nation if HE is elected. And they also moan about having "no good choice" of a candidate. I think the media mantra about Obama is just so much hype. The average American man or woman in the street is just as disgusted as I am over this whole election, Democrat & Republican.

I really now am believing that God is going to intervene somehow in this election, not because America deserves His intervention, but because He remembers the sacrifices of our forefathers and how we have been faithful to spread the Gospel and befriend His Chosen People.

That said, I now move back on topic and the hypocrisy by Democrats and Republicans alike of negotiating with terrorists. Oh, and did I forget to mention how US Corporations/International Corporations also negotiate with terrorists and fund terrorism? They pay terrorists to keep them from bombing their factories and offices overseas. Kind of like the old mafia days.

This is just soooo much hype.....

Surely you have evidence for this, because you surely wouldn't make something up, would you?

Furthermore, was McCain prompting Bush for the last five years when he has been saying this?

This is in Tennessee, right? Enough said.

And before you say anything back to me about Arkansas I have already described what I consider to be Senator Obama's poor chances in Arkansas in another thread a few days ago.

But Bush signed it into law with the stroke of his presidential pen. He could have vetoed it. Truth is, he, like the majority of our elected leaders are globalists, sacrificing American lives, money, borders, jobs, consumer safety, fair labor practices, environmental safety, ecology, all for the GLOBAL Economy, not America or Americans. Also, they are padding their personal portfolios to do it. When the Bible speaks of Wickedness in High Places, it is right on.

Saudi Arabia sponsors a very extreme form of islam - wahhabi islam - and I sort of remember most of the 19 hijackers coming from Saudi Arabia. They are terrorists. And yet, while Bush decries people negotiating with terrorists, here he is right now wining and dining with his old business buddies, the Saudi Family as we speak...
