Another salvation?I know people who were saved throught the NWT. .
Are you saying that they are saved by accepting "another" Jesus Christ? So even though it is a translation that is full of errors - even doctrinally - it was still used by God to bring salvation to someone
I second with your question. And who is behind false teachings?
And who is behind false teachings?
Hmm, pride, arrogance, human agendas.
Sometimes we give Satan too much credit for that which fallen man does on his own.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
All lies originate with Satan. I think you underestimate your enemy.
My biggest enemy is me, my flesh. I mess things up pretty well myself without Satan's help.

Do you think Satan sits around all day twiddling his thumbs?
Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
It's a naive sheep that thinks he doesn't have to fear the wolf.
This is starting to get off of the point of the OP- lets get back to it.
Assuming as Amy does that Satan was the moving force behind the NWT, how does one account for the fact that the Gospel, in fact IS found in it? I have personally witnessed a person led to the Lord via a NWT. If indeed Satan was behind it, he must have done a lousy job.
No. As I said in an earlier post, the most effective lie is the one that is mixed with truth.

Ok then, when does an error in a translation amount to a lie? And how many "lies" should we allow in a translation before we determine it is from the Devil?
Then there is this- the KJV has "lies" in it also, yet it remains the Word of God, does it not?
Huh? The NWT says that Jesus was "a" god. Is that a lie?
Where does the KJV lie?
But hey, if you want to accept the NWT as valid, be my guest.
You really don't know what valid version is?First please define "valid". .
Did I say the KJV lies? I said it has lies in it.
Examples of lies in the KJV (or any accurate Bible text) would be King Herod lying to the magi about wanting to worship the Christ babe, Peter's three denials, Satan's "thou shalt not surely die", etc.... Ok. Please give an example.

The NWT says Jesus was "a" god. Is that valid?
