Typical response from one who can't handle disagreement from others. You're not the moderator here, nor are you the owner. The alleged "low level of debate" has gone on and on in differing threads over the years. No wonder the BB is losing participants. I don't care what those other men thought. I know they didn't spend extended periods of time, wasting them on fruitless debate. Very little of their time was spent on this subject. Good for them!

 

God is sovereign as we both agree but one of us does not allow God to really be sovereign. You for some reason think that if God does not determine all things then than makes Him less than sovereign which is a foolish idea on your part for two reasons. 1] A sovereign God can allow man to have an undetermined free will that operates within His overall sovereignty and that without lessening His sovereignty. 2] If God has to determine all things such as your version of His sovereignty requires then you have just made God responsible for all the evil and sin as man can not do anything freely.

Your logic is flawed.

 

So you don't think man can freely trust in Christ Jesus for their salvation. Do you think that the bible is wrong when were told to believe the gospel and confess Christ Jesus as our Lord?

 

Well...if only God didn't tell us that he has predestined salvation...you might have a point. But since the Bible is chalk full of God's choosing, predestination, electing and adopting from before the foundation of the world, you just have to live with God's determinative will ruling over your puny will.

I contributed an opinion of the whole conversation/debate. I don't recall stating it was "stupid," so you're prevaricating. If you have to resort to calling someone a curse word, then maybe you shouldn't be on a Christian board. Just goes to show what a majority of the Calvinists I know act like and talk like. Thanks for once again proving the arrogance of most Calvinists. Guess it doesn't matter what you do as long as you're "elect." Sad...really sad. And, by the way, I don't "follow" you. Would never be that ignorant.
