So, I ask you Zaac, when you finished with this ridiculous battle will you the time to head to Troll-landfor some rest and relaxation? You will need the time, in fact, for the best question ever asked on the Board, you truly deserve it! ENJOY???

You got anything substantive to add? Are you for killing the mothers too? Let me know so I can record your vote.

Mine and a few others, eh ?

So…am I right ? You depressed your experiment didn't expose some hypocrites ?

Funny. I'd rather the church come out and admit it thinks we should kill mothers who murder babies than to continue to appear as hypocrites.

Zaac, you misrepresent the church. We don't want to kill mothers or murderers. But we have an obligation to our brethren, especially to the weaker, to protect them. Sometimes that means taking extraordinary measures.

Sergeant Alvin York was a conscientious objector; yet ended up killing over 20 Germans and taking over 100 prisoner. When asked about his conflict regarding killing those Germans, he explained that he realized that he was the only one in a position to do something, and if he didn't, a lot more than 20 Americans were going to be killed. So he did what was necessary to protect others.

Just something to consider.

That's a bunch of hoo. Our obligation is to be to Jesus Christ first and foremost. He demands our obedience over our sacrifice.

Okay. So let's kill any mother who is thinking about getting an abortion.

So let it begin today. Let's make sure the world knows that the desire of the church is that we kill mothers who are thinking about murdering her baby or who has.

And your alternative is what? What would you have us do with mothers who murder their own unborn children? And the fathers that support and encourage it? And the doctors and nurses who actually do it?

Let it continue? Or lock them up for the rest of their lives? What's your solution?

Found this on ....

An Anti-Christian page run by atheists .... It seems to fit your argument on this topic and poll! STRANGE, isn't it?

I'd have you treat them like you treat yourself. You break the same law.

The solution certainly isn't to kill them. But it's good to know that the desire of some in the church is to kill mothers.

But like I said, it's also good to know that at least some of you are consistent.

"Desire." Interesting how you continue to use emotionally-charged language to make yourself better and holier than others.

But you're dodging. What's the solution? For the mother that swears she'll continue having abortions? For the father that swears he'll continue encouraging or even forcing his wife/girlfriend to have abortions? For the doctors/nurses who swear they'll continue providing abortions for anyone who wants one?

What do we do with the unrepentent, Zaac? If we can't protect God's people from their unrepentent continued murdering by ending it once and for all, what do we do instead?

I'm about to call it a night; I'll look for your answer in the morning.

So it's not emotionally charged language for the church to advocate capital punishment? Sounds like you're only okay with the emotionally-charged language for the "bad" cases.

But you're dodging. What's the solution? For the mother that swears she'll continue having abortions? For the father that swears he'll continue encouraging or even forcing his wife/girlfriend to have abortions? What has Christ exampled for you? Did He example that you kill the people who are guilty of breaking the same law as you? That's why I keep saying the default of the Christian should ALWAYS be life.

Preach the Gospel. Lead folks to Christ. That's what God left us here for

What do we do with the unrepentent, Zaac?

What have you done with the unrepentant who dishonor and disrespect the authority God has placed over them? What have we done with those who place their politics before God?

Are you putting forth that we kill them too?

If we can't protect God's people from their unrepentent continued murdering by ending it once and for all, what do we do instead?

God's people shouldn't be having abortions. So you now think we should be legislating morality and killing those who don't conform?

I'm about to call it a night; I'll look for your answer in the morning.

Sleep well.

Someone thinks because he's laughing that what he's saying is actually funny.
Now like BC, your vote to kill mothers is recorded. Back into your ivory tower.

The OP:
Christians profess to be pro-life but also say they are okay with capital punishment.

It's even been said that Genesis 9:6 is the justification for capital punishment.
“Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in the image of God
has God made mankind.

So if the Body is to be consistent, should we not advocate capital punishment for any living mother who has chosen to abort a child?
It is flawed right from the beginning.
1. Define pro-life. If you mean "against abortion," then yes most believers would be against abortion.
2. Capital punishment, whether you are for it or against it, you cannot change. What is the policy in the state/nation in which you live? Is there any possibility of it changing or you effecting a change? If not, then the Scriptures teach in Romans 13:1-8 to obey your government. Obey those that are in positions of authority.

You say:

Gen.9:6 is not justification, it is the basis for capital judgment and has been in many former legal systems upon which ours is also built. It has nothing to do with us, as citizens, personally. As individuals we don't put people to death. The government does. However, any person must go through due process of law. They must be found guilty, not by one person, not by your opinion, but by a court of law.
So if the Body is to be consistent, should we not advocate capital punishment for any living mother who has chosen to abort a child?
This statement is absurd.
"If the Body"...
What Body?? The so-called universal body of Christ?? Really?? Are you serious?? Am I to conclude that only American citizens able to vote that have trusted Christ make up the "Body of Christ"?? Really??
There are serious racist words I can throw at that, but they are not permitted.
If you are referring to the Body of Christ, so-called, there are believers in India, China, African nations, South American nations, the mid-east, etc. Do they get to vote in your government? In your decisions? Are you going to allow all African believers decide what believers ought to do in your nation. Then how are you carrying this philosophy into action.
Only God could do something like that, and you are not God.

Theologically, there is no "Body." There is no such things as one body of believers that can assemble together anywhere at one place. That will happen someday in heaven, but not on earth.
God is calling out a nation for himself, a Bride for himself, a kingdom, a family. But the body refers to the local church. Study carefully 1Corinthians chapter 12.

Then, who is the "we"? Should not we???
How are "we" going to do anything and how are we going to rally together.
Are you speaking of the "we" of BB, the "we" of American (I am in Canada). What "we"? Who are you addressing? And how is this we going to do anything together?
There is no "we" is there?
You have a flawed OP.

You guys are thinking he actually wants a conversation about this. What he wants is to point his bony little finger and try to find a reason to accuse others.

He is nothing but an accuser.

You're a smart guy, Zaac; you understand the difference between "desire" and "advocate". There is no joy in the taking of a life; and thus, no "desire" for it.

What has Christ exampled for you? Did He example that you kill the people who are guilty of breaking the same law as you?

Still dodging. You have no alternative for the unrepentent serial killer?

Come on, Zaac. I was open and honest with you. What should we do with them?
