Yeah, yeah, yeah...maybe this...or maybe that.

The fact is YOU posted Fake News.

Next time do your homework.

I did my homework. There is no doubt that Rossi is under investigation by to RCC institutions for homosexual predations, there is no doubt that EWTN got back lash on social media about Rossi, and there is no doubt that Rossi has hired a man with a criminal record to be in charge of security at the National Basilica. Vigano says that Rossi has ties to the RCC gay mafia. He's your guy, not mine. Neumayr says that Rossi may have ties to mafia don Louis DeNaples. Rossi will be protected by Washington's Abp. Wilton Gregory who replaced McCarrick after it was shown that Wuerl had also covered for McCarrick.

You are also incorrect when you say that the Bishops do not donate to the finances of EWTN but you will have to look into the dissidents to find that out and I doubt if you would accept that evidence either. George Neumayr is one of the leading journalists in America, but I am guessing that you disavow him, also.

No, you did not do your homework and now you are moving the goal post. You repeatedly posted FAKE NEWS by arguing EWTN had cut a link to Good Friday service from the Washington Basilica, presumably as evidence of some sort of cover-up / conspiracy theory you read about from someone named Voris. Here are your repeated assertions...

I demonstrated this was FAKE NEWS by posting the link on EWTN's site to the Good Friday Service. Here it is again, beginning at approximately the 1:00 mark...

Next time do your homework.

I quoted Voris--you say that he was wrong, but he is not sloppy so either he made an honest mistake or EWTN changed--you do not say how long it was up. You seem to want to detract from Gregory and Rossi along with McCarrick and Wuerl all over a link on a website. I still do not care to watch the Good Friday service of a man like Rossi but you seem to have not said anything about the character of Rossi. Do you think that Pope Francis should allow active homosexuals in the RCC priesthood? What about RCC priests who have ties to the mafia?

Catholics may celebrate the fact that Rossi is linked by EWTN but he is also linked by Vigano:

"Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò revealed in a new interview that he received complaints, as papal nuncio, that Msgr. Walter Rossi, rector of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., had engaged in homosexual harassment and predation."

"...“Monsignor Rossi is, without a doubt, a member of the ‘gay mafia.’” Viganò, who accused Pope Francis of covering up sexual misdeeds of high-ranking prelates, went on to say, “I can say that, while I was a nuncio in the United States, I received the documentation that states that Msgr. Rossi had sexually molested male students at the Catholic University of America.” According to Viganò, “the Vatican, in particular Cardinal [Pietro] Parolin, is well aware of the situation of Msgr. Rossi, as is Cardinal [Donald] Wuerl.”

Abp. Viganò names DC National Shrine rector Msgr. Rossi as homosexual predator

Oh, this is a quibble. The Good Friday service is on YouTube but Voris said that it was linked by EWTN but taken down from there. Evidently it was posted on YouTube and left there but not by EWTN but by the National Shrine, or by Rossi himself.

"So here's the question: Why did EWTN — knowing full well Rossi has not been sidelined as he should be, but is too protected — why would EWTN air Good Friday from the Basilica?
And here's a point of reference: Church Militant put together a list on our site of various Masses and so forth that are livestreamed to help people remain spiritually grounded during these Wuhan days. One of the links we looked at for a New York heartbeat was to the National Shrine and we immediately said, "Not a chance in Hades." Rossi is there and we don't want to give that homopredator any semblance or appearance of normalcy and scandalize the audience — no way.

"Well, if we could do that in about half a nano-second, why couldn't EWTN's top dogs? Interestingly, once the complaints and outrage started popping up on social media, EWTN mysteriously pulled down the link. Poof — it was all gone. It never happened. But it did happen."

EWTN Madness

Voris was talking about EWTN and not about the National Shrine other than to imply that the National Shrine was in a bad way.

The service from the National Shrine is not linked by EWTN. Voris is correct.

OK - Fake news - Not fake news
lets call it a draw - and move on.

Do your homework. It is not linked by EWTN. It is on YouTube from the National Shrine itself not EWTN. If you search the EWTN website, the YouTube video does not come up and nothing else from the Rossi on Good Friday comes up from the search at the EWTN website.

Amazing that you are continuing to hitch your wagon to this Voris after you are threw him under the bus and blamed him for your posting of Fake News.

Here is what Pope Francis thinks about homosexuals in the priesthood...

“[Homosexuality is] not just an expression of an affection. In consecrated and priestly life, there’s no room for that kind of affection. Therefore, the Church recommends that people with that kind of ingrained tendency should not be accepted into the ministry or consecrated life. The ministry or the consecrated life is not his place.”

“[We] have to urge homosexual priests, and men and women religious to live celibacy with integrity, and above all, that they be impeccably responsible, trying to never scandalize either their communities or the faithful holy people of God by living a double life. It’s better for them to leave the ministry or the consecrated life rather than to live a double life.

I should think that you would apologize for lying about what I said originally since you linked the Basilica and tried to pass it off as EWTN but then I guess that it doesn't bother you that Voris was correct all along and what I posted was correct all along.

That's either ignorant or something worse. If you look at the listing and the source of the posting, it says National Shrine. It does not say EWTN. We know that the show was on EWTN because Voris said that it was. I wonder if you know how YouTube works?

But the Pope has only thrown McCarrick out and McCarrick escaped arrest and trial because of his money and is living the life of Riley somewhere and told Salon that what he did was not so bad.

Did you even read the transcript YOU QUOTED in your post and LINK from this Voris person???

---> "So here's the question: Why did EWTN — knowing full well Rossi has not been sidelined as he should be, but is too protected — why would EWTN air Good Friday from the Basilica?"

EWTN Madness

Earlier on in the transcript you linked, the author says this...

"For example, in a stunning move — even for that duplicitous crowd — leaders at EWTN actually showed Good Friday service from the National Basilica in D.C. with none other than — drumroll, please — homosexual predator Msgr. Walter Rossi "on stage."

EWTN has it linked as I demonstrated in the link from EWTN! There was no cut link. You posted FAKE NEWS.

No, I searched EWTN and it is not linked by them. What you posted from YouTube shows that it came from the National Shrine, not EWTN. It shows the National Shrine as having 32.4K subscribers and it says that it was streamed live to YouTube and that means that they streamed it. Don't you understand that?

As Voris said, EWTN broadcast it and then removed it from their website. Don't you understand that?

The only joke is your affinity for the CC.

The joke is your whining and sniveling that you can't find a Baptist church to your satisfaction anywhere within hundreds of miles of you and you live in a densely populated area. Also, I noticed you didn't tell Thinkingstuff you thought his affinity to the CC and leaving the Baptist was joke. But, then he knew CC teaching way better than you ever will.

ETWN has multiple media platforms. Go to EWTN. This is where they keep the majority of their video content and the link I have provided you multiple times now is from ETWN and contains their broadcast of the Good Friday service from the Basilica.

The Good Friday service took place at the NATIONAL SHRINE. It streamed on their own site but was broadcasted by EWTN. Here is the National Shrine's own website stating their Holy Week services will be broadcasted on EWTN...

"Each event is livestreamed by the Basilica at www.nationalshrine.org/mass and broadcast live on EWTN."

one-fifth of the total U.S. adult population, according to Pew Research Center’s 2014 Religious Landscape Study.
That study found that the share of Americans who are Catholic declined from 24% in 2007 to 21% in 2014.

13% of all U.S. adults are former Catholics –
2% of U.S. adults are converts to Catholicism

there are 6.5 former Catholics in the U.S. for every convert to the faith.

Many U.S. Catholics say they want to see the church make significant changes

1) allow priests to marry
2) half of say the church 8RCC should recognize the marriages of hom0sexuals.

click this link for the full report

The worldwide Catholic membership has increased by leaps and bounds. In the US Christianity is on the decline across the board as it is in Europe, Scandinavia, etc.

Would you like me to post the then normous growth in the Catholic Church throughout the world? it's easily done you know!

Btw, about the same percentage of people go from evangelical to Catholic as the other way around. Oh, and this year the largest group being received into our CC are leaving the Baptist! They were surprised to find out they wouldn't need to be re-baptized.
