Follows the word of website over the Word of God? Seeking to discuss anything else except the Word of God and the OP?
You continue to sound like a shady lawyer with your continued slanderous remarks, which validates what these former SDA's have to say about your deceptive false religion. I have quoted the Word of God numerous times in my posts and anytime I post a link to a website, it quotes the Word of God. I have also discussed the OP in post #34, but the truth just went right over your head and you responded in typical style with more scripture twisting and SDA propaganda. Speaking of websites, do you still support this website? -
https://www.beastsmark.com If I remember right, you were quite fond of it and had a link to it in your posts on one or two Christian forums.
I often hear SDA's make the challenge for someone to show them where the 4th commandment has been abolished or show that Sunday instead of Saturday is the day to worship, yet it's all part of building a straw man and is not the real issue and the New Testament makes it a moot point.
Romans 14:5 -
"One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind."
Galatians 4:9-11 "But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be
enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain."
Colossians 2:16-17 "Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a
Sabbath day--things which are a
mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ."
Of course, SDA's will use deceptive measures to try and make us believe that these passages of scripture above have nothing to do with with the sabbath day and SDA's also have a very difficult time making the complete transition from the old covenant into the new covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:13 )
In regards to God's 4th commandment in the Old Testament under the old covenant, maybe you can tell me where in the New Testament under the new covenant where Christians are commanded to keep the sabbath day or are condemned for failing to do so? So why do you hate Sunday so much? I found an interesting passage of scripture for you to ponder in the Old Testament since you despise Sunday so much. In LEVITICUS 23:5-11, notice in verse 11 - "'And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the
day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.'"
The day after the Sabbath is Sunday. Read on paying close attention to Leviticus 23:15 - "'You shall also count for yourselves from
the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. You shall count fifty days to
the DAY AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord.'" This is the Feast of Pentecost. It was one of the compulsory feasts of Israel. Also take note on the day of Pentecost, (a Sunday) God's people were commanded to worship. God says,
"On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations." Leviticus 23:21.
I neither deny God's Word or follow traditions if I work on Saturday because I am not an Israelite under the law, so enough with your continued copy and paste regurgitated false accusations. You continue to "parrot off" that if we break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin. Well guess what, ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) NOBODY has perfectly obeyed the 10 commandments except Jesus Christ, so stop looking to the law for salvation.
Instead, look to Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24-28; 5:1; 6:23)
Accusing believers of spreading lies and denying God's Word doesn't make the truth that salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9) disappear. Seeking salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" counts the blood of the covenant an unholy thing. (Hebrews 10:26-39). I find it so ironic that verses you quote to rebuke others apply directly to you. I sincerely hope and pray that your eyes will one day be opened to the truth. Only the Lord can open your eyes to the truth, but you must be willing to repent and accept the truth.
