Morning all:
Great day at church yesterday! We had 63 in morning worship and the church continues to grow. It was our first Sunday in three weeks because of illness. The business meeting last evening voted us in as members (yahooo!) and we also voted to license another man in the church as a preacher! It is very evident that God has called him to the ministry in some form or fashion. We also voted on starting a church website to help reach this growing community, so I may need some of you who have webpages to give me some ideas or instruction. I can do some html, but haven't really made a habit of it of late.
Yesterday was very nice. Viv and I went out and walked our property line and saw that we had a LOT of work to do removing rocks, moving three boulders, and leveling the ground out. It is going to take several truckloads of dirt to do that. We also found some critter homes dug into the ground. So, I guess "Bugs Bunny" and "Sammy Slither" are going to have to find somewhere else to live!
It's cooler here this morning, and I can see dark clouds on the horizon moving in from the Northeast. The high today is supposed to reach 60. Tomorrows high is supposed to be 40, and we're supposed to get snow flurries and snow showers tonight. I'm hoping and praying the snow stays away.
Well, have to get moving. Have a domain name to register, and have to find a good company outside of Godaddy.com to register it with. Also have to find some hosting. Pray for me as I work on this project for the church, that it will be an informative site and God will use it for His glory.
