Diane, I will continue to pray. I'm doing a bit better. I took a huge dose of antihistamines and I'm coughing like crazy. I also took a long hot shower and breathed in the warm air...made me lungs feel much better. Now I'm waiting for the water in me pan to boil so that I can have a cuppa!

Hmmm...I wonder what origin Patton is??? ;)

Nifty. Anyway, it really is a cool last name. I'm really inteterseted in names--partly because I'm a writer and have to name my characters.

It's great fun.

MW, I'm working on a manuscript now that uses Margo "Ritter" as a character. You seem to be a character anyhow...LOL! ;)

I recently found out the ancient Nordic origin of my name as it was adapted into medieval England and France. Combined with my surname, it would have been -

Hroogar Perreault

Love it!

My, my! I guess you ARE quick on the draw today! Our clan came from Antrim County Northern Ireland back in the early to mid 1800's. They settled in PA, KY and IN.

I often distort rreal people's names for use in stories. It's great fun.

My real name isn't Margo--it's the name I chose when learning French. MargoWriter became one of my online names several years ago, I guess. I use it a lot.

Some of our relatives tell us the same thing, Roger. I love those areas of the country, so I would probably love Ireland. Viv and I have always wanted to come over there and spend some time working with missionaries. May have the chance to do so with the SBC someday.

This is my clan motto:

Without God without anything, God is enough.

I've never been able to get around that one logically or grammitically . . . I read it one way and it makes sense, and another way and it seems all weird . . .

I THINK it means even if you have nothing, God is enough. But it doesn't really that . . .

Roger, that is a confusing name...Does this mean you're supposed to "kill the parrot"? LOL

I could see Roger out there with a spear, dressed as an old gaelic/scottish/welsh warrior chasing a bird! LOL
