Wow...my mom and I practically grew up together. She had just turned 19 when she had me. She just turned 62 the day before Valentines. She had all of her kids before she was 29.

I grew up with my kids too, Tony. I had four children, my last child was born when I was 27.

My mother didn't start until she was 30...

People see us out and about when she's here, and they think that we're brother and sister! LOL I can't believe that! But, I've got just as much grey hair as she does, if not more!

I didn't get an early start. I had my first at 28 and my last at 33. LOL, Precious and Son's friends are usually the youngest child in the family. Bitsy's friends are usually the oldest or only child(so far). Bisty's friends parents are mostly 10-15 years younger than I am. Makes me feel old.

Speaking of kids, my daycare appears to be open today. I have FOUR extra kids at the moment! I'm not even getting paid. How'd that happen?

Hopefully, some of them will start leaving here in a bit. I sent Precious' friend's mother to the store for me and THEN found out there was no milk in the house!

Tony, good luck at the doctor this PM.

Margo, me too! What's for lunch?

I don't know what's for lunch because I already had lunch, about four hours ago! Hmmmmmmmm. But a lady at work gave me a piece of chocolaste to tide me over.

Ah, chocolaste. You have not heard of this my friend? You have not lived!

Chocolaste is . . . is . . . well, if you don't know,

Actually, I think I have license to coin a few words. I'm a writer.

My grandma's like 85 or something.
My dad's the third child, but Ruth was Harold's second wife (first one died a few years after they were married) . . . so my dad's a honeymoon baby.

OH, have I got a STORY for you.

In my home church in Maine we have a lady who was married and had her first child at 16. I'd say she had her last at about 45.

Now that sounds like my Grandma.

Married at 14, first baby at 15, 17 pregnacies and 14 kids, the last one at age 46.

I'm finally down to just three kids again. I'll be back to four when Bitsy comes home though. She's had quite the day, today. Had a two friends over earlier, then when they went home another friend invited her to go to the movies. She'll sleep good tonight!

Brother Barnabas,

The weather is lovely up here these days. The snow is almost gone and the sap is running, birds are buzzing..or are they bees?

Cheers,

Jim

Well, morning all:

I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon after picking up nearly $200 worth of prescriptions. Found out that thos prescripts would be over $1,200 if I didn't have insurance. The doc gave me a breathing test (apparently I failed...only 42-58% lung capacity), so I ended up with two x-rays of my chest. Conclusion? SEVERE CHRONIC ASTHMA and a bout of chronic brochitis w/ sinusitis. Got me a nice big ol' steroid shot right in the...well, you know!   Got a breathing treatment on the nebulizer and was told I had to have one. It's being ordered today by the doctor, and then changed three meds. Back on steroids for another 11 days. I got a big lecture on how my immunity is not built up enough to let these little things go any longer than a few hours since the transfusions. I guess I just don't get it. Can people actually get that close to dying and not know it? If it's not started clearing up by Monday evening...I've got a reservation at the hospital on standby.

Well, it's hailing outside....I'm hoping no damage was done to the Sonata we bought last year. The van and the Chevy I don't care so much about. They're paid for!

If you're still sleeping, I'm praying you all to sleep well. I'm sort of wired from my shot, plus I'm coughing my head off. Maybe I'll get some sleep this morning or in the early afternoon. I've got to check the front door locks first, though...the deadbolt works fine, but the front door handle lock is not unlocking....so, Viv's got to go out the back door this morning. I'll be checking the lock wondering how many more things are going to have to be replaced or looked at under the homeowners one year warranty.

Woah! That angel must have just hit a strike in heaven! That thunder rolled from here to Nashville, and the lightening surely had to have been that large, also!

Sue, hope you slept better. Ain't steroids a pain?

Good morning Tony and all and YES THEY ARE!

I tried to go bed early last night, but couldn't get to sleep until almost 2:00 and got up three hours later!

The 'wiring' part doesn't bother me too much in the daytime - I get a lot of work done. But at night, it sure does because it won't let me sleep.

Another rainy day here, but it is snowing up by Chicago.

Good Morning all....I am recovering from a really strange dream....I had a dream that we had a huge BB party. We were all talking and fellowshipping and eating ....and then Dr. Bob gets up and gave us a nice little talk about servanthood. In the middle of his talk my alarm went off....

Now if we could just bottle all of Tony's and Sue's extra energy, we'd make a million!

Good Morning everyone!

Our storms had passed through and out by the time I went to bed last night. The next couple of days are supposed to be really beautiful. The kids will like that!

Not much on the plans for today. Mostly I'm going to work on Bitsy's dress. Spring cleaning can wait for a day or so, I'm somewhat bored with it already. Plus, what I have left to do is best done without kids in the house. I've been such a good mother the last couple of days, that I believe the kids can pay me back by doing the daily chores. Son cleans better than I do!
