Just popping in to say goodnight. I think I ate something that disagreed with me for lunch. I've been sick since this afternoon.
I sure hope it's all out of my system. Tomorrow is the last day for the 'corner' until fall and I really want to be there to tell all the kids to have a safe and fun-filled summer.

Joseph, congrats to you and your wife on your anniversary!
Sue, I marinated that salmon in mustard, honey, onion and garlic powders, basil and parsley, but I just can't bring myself to eat it. I was going to grill it today, but don't think that is going to happen. I used to love salmon....don't know what happened. Guess we'll grill burgers and dogs today, and maybe a little chicken!
Rachel, I hope you do understand that daycare is a paid position and is done for money. I can guarantee you that Diane loves kids, all the kids she has, and tries to be a witness to them and their parents.
Not much else going on here today except going to the store with Vivian and trying to get some things done around the house. Helped Mr. G the past two days around the other two houses trying to get them ready for him to sell. He tried to pay me yesterday for helping, but, I couldn't and wouldn't have accepted any money. I was just glad for the opportunity to get to witness to him and to be doing some physical labor and trying to regain my physical strength. Did have two asthma attacks yesterday and scared him half to death. He thought I was going to sue, him and I had to keep telling him that that wasn't going to happen. The Lord is opening doors to witness to him, and I'm going to keep being a witness as long as the Lord keeps opening those doors.

I have been up since 5:30, but I've been doing other things and just now realized I hadn't checked in here yet!

Today is my last full day at the corner. No school Monday, and Tuesday I only work for about an hour in the morning.
The weather doesn't look too promising for a picnic/cook-out on Memorial Day. We had planned a day-long trip to New Salem, but I'm not going if it's not warm and sunshiny.

The only thing calling my name is laziness!
T is off today and Monday so we slept in till nine and then haven't done much else since. The kids have done their chores so at least the house isn't in to bad of shape. Technically we're dressed to do yard work but.....
I have some baking to do, so maybe I'll get that done.

I have a lot of things calling my name, but the one that takes priority right now is my 'sick' tummy. Yuck!
I sure hope this passes soon. I think it might have been a touch of food poisoning from the Brats I had for lunch yesterday...
I got sick about three hours after I ate them and have been sick ever since!
Going to try and catch a short nap before the papers and MY LAST AFTERNOON at the corner this year!!!

Cindi, It's still gorgeous here! Nick went on a long bike ride with Ashley and Warren and their college professor Dad. MacKenzie is down for a nap and Brayden is playing with cars and sirens in his playpen.
My laundry is in the dryer and chores are all done for now. I do need to run Max's booster seat over to their house this afternoon but they live only a few streets away.
I'm looking forward to the long weekend.

Well I've been sitting here getting more and more sleepy. Brayden is having mommy withdrawal and wants me in his site. His poor mom is in horrible pain.
