Afternoon all:
Vivian and I had to go out and dig up some poles this morning out in the front yard by the road. The neighbor was kind enough to plow down all of the overgrowth and remove the fencing and that was a blessing. He's been a very good hearted neighbor and we do appreciate his doing these things without us asking. He's really been a big help!
It only took us about 30 minutes to get the poles up. They were dug in pretty deep.
I am doing a bit better today. At least I've been able to get outside, a place I love to be, and do some yard work, a thing I love to do!
God has been good to me.
Viv's making a bunch of danishes right now. I'm glad that she is. I like it when she bakes. She's a very good cook, though at times she is so unsure of herself in that area and afraid to try new things. She usually conquers all of the obstacles that come her way in cooking and even in other areas. She's a keeper, that's for sure!
Tomorrow I've got a meeting with the associate pastor and the pastor of the church. We are discussing how to take members so that we can start doing so. I was surprised that they put me on the panel considering that I requested that they wait on adding me as an associate pastor, too, until some of the ruckus from the previous church had blown over. It still hasn't. I signed over the ownership of the websites to the previous church but didn't email them the codes, etc., that I had in my possession. I don't have them anyhow. They were lost in the computer crash last week. Viv and I lost a lot of money signing over ownership to the church without them paying anything. Yet, they seemed unbothered by it. Oh, well, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I believe it helped to make a permanent break from them and made me more able to serve at Faith.
If I'm not back on, the Lord bless and keep ya'll this weekend.
Be good, be kind, be careful.
