You're a braver man than I...I don't even have a picture of myself! Unless ya count our wedding pictures.

Side's the bible speaks well of bald headed men. That's why it don't bother me...though I DO think I've got two or three more strands than you!!!Plus my beard ain't white....yet anyway! But between Sam, BH & Gina...it proably won't be long! :D

Notice how smart I'm getting...didn't include my wittle wife in that list!

That don't help the fire situation at all I'm sure.
It got up to 62 here today, probaly be back to normal by tuesday when I return to work.
Tomorrow is my last day off & I'm going to have the house to myself! Wonder what me & BH can get into????

Thankful

Gusts to 53, now! The worst fire is 50 miles north of us traveling 5 miles in 15 minutes to the east and burning houses along it path, but we can see smoke and dust and it is difficult for us to breathe.

It seems we may lose another section of fence.
That would be minor.

We are prepared to evacuate.

Thanks, everyone. I'm not as anxious as I was.

We are in Central Oklahoma and they do not think that the rain with reach us, but we can keep praying that it will.

I'll be retiring earlier too so I can re-adjust for work. I set BH out & she say's she'll be on her best behaviour. She did mention something bout never seeing any "action" in this place! She has to keep her guarding skills honed. Guess thats why she gave me such a workout this morning!! She was doing 90 all over me & her chair! Course she may have been tryin' to show off for the baby my wife was sitting.
I'll probly be in early, have to get up & take Agee to work, so untill then Boys' & Girls'! Have a Peaceful night!!

Have set a couple nuts on the counter for BH...

I see the snickerdoodles are all clean. And Gina must have washed the platter! Thanx Sister.

Got a fresh batch of homemade fudge ready to dirty the platter again. Hope Gina doesn't get mad. Made enough to share with others as they pop in through the night. Will just get this glass cover to make sure BH doesn't stuff herself with the chocolate.

Well, what do you know about that? BH was under the glass.... who could have done that? She has run straight to the nuts, so I guess she is ok.

Preacher, make sure ya comfort her tomorrow morning just incase she is upset over that. Let me know who did it. will put some ex-lax in their chocolate.

Welcome DJ.

I'm more than happy to keep doing the dishes. It's worth having them filled up again!

I found a hazelnut, they're my favorite, but as I went to pick it up guess who came leaping over and stood with his paws up as if challenging me to a boxing match! WHY I NEVER! I guess I'll have to go buy my own hazelnuts.

Today was pretty much a day of yawning for all of us, after that very late night! We didn't have our traditional order out for pizza like we usually do on New Years Day, with chicken wings and salad and everything to munch on all day and not have to cook. Instead I cooked. Then I ran out of hot water washing my hair tonight. Altogether it's turned out to be a rather odd New Years Day.

But...we did play a little kid game of hi ho cherry o or whatever it is and it was hilarious, and I got through the last three books of the New Testament earlier. I'll have to go back through them again a few times and pick up more stuff. They're starting to become familiar, and that's good. I got tired of not knowing what they said!

Ok, gonna wait patiently for the fudge. No sweets in the house tonight, and I'm out of sugar to make anymore with, so get in the kitchen man!

Wow, that felt weird. Let me do it again.

Get in the kitchen man!

The feminists must be getting to me, I enjoyed that WAY too much!

Everyone have a good night. I'm traumatized by the BH incident and must get some rest.

Well, had Gina turned the lights on she would have seen that platter of fudge on the counter.

Oh well, help yer self dj, and hey, good to have you aboard!

Well, looks like Gina lost to BH once again. Gonna have to lay an extra blanket on the chair for BH to rest in. Gets free roam tonight and no cage, so I suspect you'll get to know him pretty quick.
