And I tried to keep thinking that as I walked out of the stall, then I finally decided to face the facts and look down at my shoe.
BLICK!

We are out of milk, and I should pick up bread, but who wants to go look at groceries and think of food after THAT?
Now you know why farmers don't wear sandals to the barn. Why wouldn't you want to look at groceries after that, Geener? Ever see where an egg comes from?

I wonder who first thought of eating eggs?

The CH is always slow on week-ends. They belong to our 'real' lives...

Brent is doing fine after our 3 hour trip to the ER late last night, but we're both tired.

Tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny and 70º. School in the morning, then a dental appointment, then lunch at the park with Brent and his two sisters. I will be tired again tomorrow night!

I am heading for bed.

Pleasant dreams all!

Thanks, the girls brought eggs in from the chickens today, and I did NOT need a reminder of where they come from! Blick blick blick blick blick... (I also had to chase a chicken but that's a whole 'nother story)

I normally won't eat eggs, but I'll eat them around Easter. Now I probably won't, thanks Padre, but I think everyone should stop and think about where eggs from. With this many members of the board, and many reading, maybe we can drop the sale of eggs this year. Wouldn't THAT be scary?

(and I probably just incurred the wrath of every farmer on here)

Hi, Rachel had some kind of tummy ailment last night. Kept her, Daddy and myself up until Almost 6:00 this morning (Sunday). We didn't make it to the AM service.

Wesley and I went this evening. The girl is much better tonight, has color in her face and everything . . .

I was scheduled to have a PET Scan last Fri morning to make sure everything was still under controlith the "C" thing, but the machine is broken. It's been rescheduled for the 28th, blood test was rescheduled for the same time . . . I hate needles, and I get claustrophobic in those closed-in machines . . .

Good morning all:

Well, as some of you know, we had a rough weekend here in Tennessee. As Sue has told you, Vivian and I are ok. The people behind us had just replaced their roof from a twister that came through here two weeks ago, and now they have to replace it again. One of their tractors was knocked over as well, from what I could tell. I know their cattle are all safe. They stayed way out away from the barn and nearer the trees and creek.

A pastor friend of mine, Phil Martin, pastor of the Metro Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN had his church building take a direct hit from the tornado there. I believe his building was one of the first hit. He had 35 children in the building and several adults, but, all are ok. They still had services Sunday at the Metro Christian School building. So, the Lord's work goes on. Praise the Lord nobody was hurt there. There were several killed, and there are still a few unaccounted for. I believe that last count on the dead was 13.

We were without power for a little bit, and the clouds just kept rotating above the fields behind us and over our area of homes. Some left and went into town just in case they became funnel clouds. Others, like Vivian and I, braved it out. Hey, if it's our time to go, it's our time. We were in the hallway of the house for nearly an hour.

We had our identities stolen this past week and are having to close our bank accounts and credit cards. We are going to another bank that has more security features and safeguards on their accounts. This is the second time in 15 months that our identities have been used by someone else.

I may try to mow the lawn today in the early morning hours. Viv's worried about that since I had a major asthma attack on Saturday night, and then another one yesterday. The grass is almost knee deep...last week it was only ankle deep, and the week before that? DORMANT!!!

Anyhow, glad to know that those who went through the storms are all safe and that damage was minimal.

God bless you, and have a great day!

Bro. T

(Good to 'see' you again, Tony!)

Good morning all,

Gayla, glad that Rachel is feeling better. I think 'something' is going around. Brent was in the ER Saturday night for 3 hours with acute abdominal pain and my tummy started acting up the minute I got out of bed this morning...

Beautiful weather all week here with temps in the 70's. I'm supposed to take Brent and his two sisters to the park today, but not if I still need to be near a bathroom by then.

No coffee for me this morning, thanks.

Hey, Jim!

I didn't realize I hadn't been in here since this morning!

I haven't been 'up and around' that much today though. I didn't get to the park this afternoon, maybe tomorrow.

Actually I just stopped in to say good night and...

Pleasant dreams all!

Morning:

Well, this place is really hopping.

Not much going on here in Tenn. I am having a medial nerve branch section on Friday morning at 7 AM. It's a bit unnerving to say the least. It could do more harm than good, but I have to take that risk to see if the lower back and leg pain will decrease. Anyhow, you're prayers would be appreciated.

I mowed a part of the lawn yesterday, though I shouldn't have, and I'm paying for it. I've had to give myself five breathing treatments since yesterday at around noon. Am getting ready to go for my sixth in a minute. I'm wheezing.

Ya'll have a great day!

Good morning all,

Tony, take care of yourself!

I think all of us are taking advantage of this spring weather and we're outside getting our yards in shape.

I don't post nearly as much when the weather is nice 'cause I love to be outdoors and there is always something needing done. That's why I started my spring cleaning early this year. Of course, I haven't got it done yet...

Time for coffee,

The beautiful day has turned into a hair-pulling night.
The smoke alarm decided to beep continuously about one SECOND after I fell asleep, signalling that the battery was low. I adjusted the battery, didn't help. I couldn't disconnect it, as it's wired and the battery is a backup.
So, I had no nine volt batteries just laying about, which means I just got back from Walgreen's a minute ago.

But...the good news!

I have rice krispie treats laid out here for any visitors that may decide to drop in. Try them, they're swell!

Good morning all,

Yesterday was a beautiful day and today will be one also!

Thanks for the rice krispie treats, Gina. I'm having one for breakfast with my coffee.

I need to go grocery shopping for Easter Sunday. I'm having 17 people over for dinner after church.

I'm planning on having all my salads and desserts made on Saturday so all I have to do on Sunday is put the ham in the oven and let it bake while I'm at church!

Time for school and coffee,

Morning Everyone!

It's going to be a beautiful day today! Sunny and warm. I'll be working in the back yard again, trying to finish our backyard redo.

Going to my mom's for Easter Sunday dinner. I'm taking rolls and potato salad. I'm doing mine on Saturday, too, Sue!

Bro. T, I'm wheezing a little, too. Hope you're feeling better today.

Wow Sue, you're going to be one busy lady!

I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be. It'll hit me later, I'm sure. The mocha is kicking in, so that may be part of it. Class begins in about 25 minutes, and I'll get to see how I did on the exam taken Monday.

All these Easter plans and mine aren't made yet! Not fair!

Actually T's sister is coming in somewhat unexpectedly this weekend and that threw a wrench into the quiet Easter weekend I was planning. Hopefully today, we'll have some idea of how the weekend will progress.

Since she is coming and the kids have been sick I am way way behind in getting things done. So, I will in and out the rest of the week.

Need prayers on two things: 1) gotta another meeting with the school today and 2) Bitsy has an earache and has to see the doc if she's not better by morning.

Ya'll have a good day!

LOL, I thought I had posted this a lonnnnggg time ago. Must not have clicked add reply.

I hope I feel better by Friday or we'll all be eating P&J sandwiches for Easter dinner.

I haven't felt well for three days and as soon as Brent finishes school, I'm going to do something I haven't done in years. I'm going back to bed!

I was hoping the longer I was up, the better I would feel.....not happening.

I ate some crackers and drank 1/2 glass of milk for breakfast and I'm fighting to keep it down.

CYAL,
§ue :(
