There is no magical innate seeking outside the direction and authority of God.
But then again you are correct in presenting some make distinction. It is wrong to do so and as others have pointed out, the Word is indiscriminately spread. Just as the Lord stated in the parable of the sower.
But who is in charge of the dirt? Who determines the preparation, where the path runs, what is too shallow and rocky?
It is all under the authority of God.
